  • Publication number: 20090320415
Abstract: It is intended to provide a process for producing a packaged drink whereby filling can be performed at room temperature without resorting to using a chemical or sterile water, the favorable taste and flavor of the content can be maintained while relieving the thermal degradation thereof, it becomes unnecessary to employ a heat-resistant container or to thermally sterilize or cool after sealing, and thus both of the equipment cost and the running cost can be largely reduced. After thermally sterilizing the content to give a definite sterilization value, it is quickly cooled to room temperature and then stored in a storage tank that has been preliminarily sterilized under such conditions as being equal to or exceeding the thermal sterilization conditions for the contents.

  • Publication number: 20090130274
Abstract: There is provided a method for manufacturing a beverage contained in a container comprising: a container sterilizing process for sterilizing at least an inner surface of a container; a beverage sterilizing process for sterilizing a beverage; a filling process for filling the sterilized beverage in the sterilized container at a temperature within a range from 1° C. to 40° C.; a sealing process for sealing the container filled with the beverage with a sterilized cap; and a positive container-internal-pressure maintaining process made before sealing of the container for maintaining a positive internal pressure of the container after sealing, the container sterilizing process, filling process, positive container-internal-pressure maintaining process and sealing process being respectively performed in an aseptic space. There is also provided an apparatus for carrying out this method.

  • Publication number: 20090007522
Abstract: A method of producing a drink contained in a container comprising steps of heating and thereby sterilizing a tea drink having pH of 4.6 or over and containing catechin in an amount of 30 mg % or over or an acidic drink having pH of less than 4.6 and thereafter maintaining the sterilized drink at a temperature within a range from 60° C. to 70° C. and, in the meanwhile, heating and thereby sterilizing and rinsing a container on at least its inner surface with heated water having a temperature within a range from 65° C. to 100° C., filling the drink in the sterilized container at a filling temperature within a range from 60° C. to 70° C. in an environment controlled space which is separated from an outside environment and in which filling and sealing apparatuses and an environment surrounding the filling and sealing apparatuses have been heated and thereby sterilized and rinsed with heated water having a temperature within a range from 65° C. to 100° C.

  • Patent number: 6519919
Abstract: A method and apparatus for manufacturing pressurized packages capable of obtaining gas displacement pressurized canned goods with high accuracy of internal pressure by atomizing liquid nitrogen, and supplying it together with low temperature vaporized gases to a head space of a can. A spray device assembly (10) for atomizing and spraying the liquid nitrogen is provided in an opening of the bottom of a liquefied gas storage tank (1) formed as a vacuum heat insulating structure. The spray device assembly (10) is constituted such that a valve (2) for controlling the flow rate of liquid nitrogen, a spray nozzle (3), a liquid nitrogen flowpassage (4) extending from the valve (2) to the spray nozzle (3), a nozzle cooling tank (5) for cooling the flowpassage, and a purge device for cutting an outer peripheral portion of a nozzle and an outlet portion off from the air, so as to prevent them from being frosted, are integrally mounted on a spray body 6.
