    Abstract: A drink dispenser includes a continuous supply/stop button that requests a sale of a drink to be suspended when it is pressed during the sale and further requests a drink to be continuously supplied when it is pressed while no drink is being sold, and a mode switch for changing between enabled and disabled states of the continuous supply/stop button. When the continuous supply/stop button is pressed during the sale of a drink, the process is ended if the mode switch is on. Alternatively, when the continuous supply/stop button is pressed while no drink is being sold, the process is ended if the mode switch is on. In the drink dispenser, turning the mode switch on can invalidate a request from the continuous supply/stop button to prevent any inconveniences caused by any improper operation of the button.

Once the current sale of a drink has been completed, an interval timer starts counting down and after a specified period of time, a valve corresponding to the request for a sale stored in the memory is opened to start a sale.     Abstract: A drink vending machine for providing fixed amounts of drinks is basically formed of a sales amount memory device for memorizing amounts of drinks to be sold as an opening duration of an ejection valve; a valve controller for opening the ejection valve by operation of one of the drink sales buttons; and a mode setting device for changing a mode to a setting mode for setting amounts of the drinks to be sold. The vending machine further includes a drink sales halt device, a timer and a sales amount registration device. The drink sales halt device stops ejection of the drink while the drink is ejecting from the ejecting valve by actuation of the sales button in the setting mode. In the setting mode, the timer counts the opening duration of the ejection valve from a time the sales button is pushed to a time the drink sales halt device is actuated.
