  • Patent number: 11558586
Abstract: A recording system includes a recording data acquisition unit, an analysis unit, a learning unit, and a determination unit. The recording data acquisition unit acquires recording data in which a surrounding situation of a vehicle is recorded. The analysis unit performs image analysis processing on video data included in the recording data to create information regarding a transition of a color component in the video data. The learning unit learns the transition of the color component using artificial intelligence to create a trained model used to determine an occurrence of an event. The determination unit determines whether an event occurs using the trained model on a basis of the recording data. When the determination unit determines the occurrence of the event, the event recording control unit causes a recording unit to record, as event recording data, the recording data including a time point upon the occurrence of the event.

  • Patent number: 9423267
Abstract: A position detector is configured to detect a current position of a moving body. A condition detector is configured to detect moving conditions including a forward direction of the moving body. A display unit is configured to display a predetermined image overlaid on the landscape in front of the moving body. A storage unit is configured to store the position of each intersection in a route along which the moving body moves and the position and shape of each object existing around the intersection. A selector is configured to select any one of the objects existing around an intersection for which guidance is needed when the moving body nears the intersection. A drawing controller is configured to draw on the display unit, a guide figure indicating the object selected by the selector.

  • Patent number: 8296050
Abstract: A navigation device (100) has a position detection section (7), an interface (4), a touch panel (62), and a computer (1). The computer (1) has timekeeper means for clocking a current time, estimated arrival time calculation means for calculating the estimated time of arrival at a destination by using the touch panel (62), mail creation instruction means for causing, through the interface, (4) a portable telephone (200) to create mail containing text that informs arrival at the calculated estimated time of arrival, and mail transmission instruction means for causing the portable telephone (200) to transmit the created mail. The estimated time of arrival is transmitted to the other party without operation of a portable telephone by a driver.

  • Publication number: 20100030463
Abstract: A navigation device (100) is connected to a mobile communication device (150) by a radio communication. The storage unit (106) stores a map DB (131). A control unit (107) acquires telephone book data (132) and history data (133) on calling/called operations performed by the mobile communication device (150) from the mobile communication device (150) and stores the data in the storage unit (106). A telephone number of a partner is correlated with position information which can be set for a navigation destination when they are respectively stored in the telephone book data (132) and the history data (133). A control unit (107) receives an instruction input for selecting as the destination, the position indicated by the position information correlated to the telephone book data (132) or the history data (133). The control unit (107) sets the position indicated by the position information correlated to the selected telephone book data (132) or the history data (133) as the navigation destination.

  • Patent number: 7565240
Abstract: In a navigation device, a destination waypoint is set by a user through an input section (13), and, when guidance to the destination waypoint is started, a control section (11) stores positional information on the destination waypoint into a destination waypoint history table (21) of a storage section (12) at predetermined timing, the destination waypoint history table (21) storing positional information on destination waypoints. Stored information is displayed on a display section (14) when the user sets a destination waypoint. The user can select a destination waypoint based on the displayed information and set the destination waypoint. After the destination waypoint is set, only the destination waypoint satisfying predetermined conditions is stored.
