The second display device displays a first captured image obtained by imaging at least one or more first users present in a first space. The display control section superimposes and displays a second user object on the first captured image in accordance with line-of-sight relevant information of each of the first users. The second user object corresponds to each of at least one or more second users present in the second space. This makes it possible to achieve more realistic communication.

A control section controls display, on an information processing apparatus of a user A, of the virtual space represented by the generated virtual space information instead of the real space represented by the real space information. The present technique can be applied to a multi-direction communication system.
