Patent number: 9653661Abstract: A method of manufacturing a light-emitting device includes a hole forming process for forming a through-hole that continues from a front surface to a back surface of a mounting substrate, a pattern forming process for continuously forming a circuit pattern on an inner surface of the through-hole in the mounting substrate, from an end portion of the through-hole on the front surface of the mounting substrate to a mounting portion of a light-emitting element, and on a periphery of the through-hole on the back surface of the mounting substrate, a mounting process for mounting the light-emitting element on the mounting portion, and a hot pressing process in that an inorganic material softened by heating is placed on the surface of the mounting substrate and is advanced into the through-hole while sealing the light-emitting element by pressing and bonding the inorganic material to the surface of the mounting substrate.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2010Date of Patent: May 16, 2017Assignee: TOYODA GOSEI CO., LTD.Inventors: Yoshinobu Suehiro, Seiji Yamaguchi, Katsunori Arakane, Koji Tasumi

Patent number: 7393122Abstract: The present invention provides a lamp that includes a reflection case and a light emitting element. A central portion of a lower wall inner face of the reflection case is stepwise lowered to form a lower wall enlarged inner face, and both faces are made continuous with each other through right and left perpendicular hanging inner faces, so that a central portion of a back wall inner face and a front opening are downwardly enlarged in a rectangular shape, respectively. The light emitting element is mounted on a front face of a sub mount table. A back face of the sub mount table is fixed to the central portion of the back wall inner face, and right and left end faces of the sub mount table are positioned to right and left perpendicular hanging inner faces when the sub mount table is fixed.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2005Date of Patent: July 1, 2008Assignee: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd.Inventors: Atsushi Tsuzuki, Yuji Takahashi, Toshimasa Hayashi, Katsunori Arakane

Patent number: 6791116Abstract: In a light emitting diode, a scattering material-containing light guiding/scattering layer is provided which directly receives light emitted from a light emitting element. The scattering material contained in the light guiding/scattering layer irregularly reflects and scatters the incident light. The scattered light is led to a fluorescence emitting layer formed of a transparent binder containing a phosphor material. The probability of incidence of light having high optical density, which has been emitted from the light emitting element, directly to the phosphor material contained in the fluorescence emitting layer is lowered, and light can be radiated from the whole fluorescence emitting layer. Therefore, uniform light having a desired color can be radiated with high efficiency from the light emitting diode.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2003Date of Patent: September 14, 2004Assignees: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd., Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yuji Takahashi, Shigeru Fukumoto, Katsunori Arakane, Atsuo Hirano, Kunihiro Hadame, Kunihiko Obara, Toshihide Maeda, Hiromi Kitahara, Kenichi Koya, Yoshinobu Yamanouchi
