  • Patent number: 7140494
Abstract: A screen bowl type centrifugal separator which can not only eliminate the problem of the productivity being lowered resulting from the occurrence of clogging with the crystals in the screen part, but also minimize the amount of leakage of the object to be treated in the screen part. Inside of the hub (41) of the screw conveyor (40), a cleaning liquid receiving part (43) which receives the cleaning liquid for the cleaning nozzle (45) is provided, and further, in the cleaning liquid receiving part (43), a residual layer crystal cleaning liquid receiving part (46) which receives the cleaning liquid for cleaning the residual layer object to be treated in the screen part (30) is provided, being partitioned independently of the inside of the cleaning liquid receiving part (43).

  • Patent number: 5763648
Abstract: A process for producing an aromatic carboxylic acid, which comprises oxidizing an alkylaromatic hydrocarbon with a molecular oxygen-containing gas in a liquid phase in an acetic acid solvent in the presence of catalyst components comprising cobalt, manganese and bromine, wherein(1) the reaction temperature is from 140.degree. to 180.degree. C.,(2) the cobalt component is in an amount of from 400 to 3,000 ppm by weight to the acetic acid solvent, as calculated as cobalt metal,(3) the manganese component is in an amount of from 0.001 to 0.4 time in the atomic ratio to cobalt,(4) the bromine component is in an amount of from 0.1 to 5.

  • Patent number: 5145312
Abstract: A spot welding robot including a base and an arm assembly mounted on the base. The arm assembly includes a lower arm mounted at a lower end on the base for a swingable movement about a substantially horizontal first axis, a swingable member mounted on the lower arm at an upper end portion of the lower arm for a swingable movement about a second axis which is parallel with the first axis, and an upper arm mounted at one end portion on the swingable member for a swingable movement about a third axis which is perpendicular to the second axis. The swingable member has a portion extending in a direction opposite to the direction in which the upper arm extends. A driving motor is provided on the swingable member for driving the upper arm to produce the swingable movement of the upper arm about the third axis.
