  • Patent number: 4997164
Abstract: A spare tire carrier utilizing a differential gear mechanism having a wire wheel rotatably held in a housing, for winding a wire rope to lift a spare tire. The differential gear mechanism includes an internal gear coaxial and integral with the wire wheel, a drive gear meshing with the internal gear, and a drive gear plate coaxial and integral with the drive gear and adapted to come into abutment with the housing to prevent the drive gear from rotating in a wire rope unwinding direction. The drive gear is rotatably fitted on an eccentric portion of the drive shaft. The housing and the drive gear plate are provided with a stopper mechanism for stopping an eccentric motion of the drive gear plate when the drive gear plate rotates in a wire rope winding direction from its position of abutment with the housing.

  • Patent number: 4936556
Abstract: A liquid-sealed body mount comprising an inner and an outer cylinders concentrically disposed, a first and a second rubber members provided mutually in axially spaced relation and connecting both cylinders therebetween, an intermediate rubber plate means partitioning axially an enclosure surrounded by both cylinders and both rubber members into a first and a second liquid chambers, an orifice for communication with both chambers apertured in the intermediate means, and a liquid filled in both chambers. The intermediate rubber plate means is configured, when assembled, so as to be preliminarily deformed in the shearing direction, assuming a shade-like form and, when imposed with a prescribed load, so as to retain a neutral state of intersecting orthogonally both cylinders, whereby equalized vibration-preventing characteristics against oscillations on both bound and rebound sides are achieved.

  • Patent number: 4781361
Abstract: This invention relates to a vibration-preventing device wherein a partition wall is positioned outside of an inner cylinder and is interposed between an upper plate and a lower plate. The partition wall includes a hub portion. The upper plate and lower plate are connected to the inner cylinder. An upper vibration-preventing rubber member and an upper elastic film are interposed between the partition wall and the upper plate and cooperate to define an enclosure which functions as an upper damper liquid chamber. A lower vibration-preventing rubber member and a lower elastic film are interposed between the partition wall and the lower plate and cooperate to form an enclosure which functions as a lower damper liquid chamber. The upper damper liquid chamber communicates with the lower damper liquid chamber through an orifice.

  • Patent number: 4753421
Abstract: This invention relates to a vibration-preventing rubber device in which a partition wall having a hub is positioned outside an inner cylinder and is interposed between an upper plate and a lower plate which are connected to the inner cylinder. An upper vibration-preventing rubber member is interposed between the partition wall and the upper plate and cooperates with the partition wall and the upper plate to define an upper damper liquid chamber. A lower vibration-preventing rubber member is interposed between the partition wall and the lower plate and cooperates with the partition wall and the lower plate to define a lower damper liquid chamber. The upper damper liquid chamber communicates with the lower damper liquid chamber through an orifice. The orifice is formed from a long curved pipe in the shape of a helix or the like.

  • Patent number: 4721291
Abstract: This invention relates to a multiple mounting vibration-preventing device wherein a partition wall is interposed between an upper plate and a lower plate. An upper vibration-preventing rubber member is interposed between the partition wall and the upper plate so as to define an upper damper liquid chamber therebetween. A lower vibration-preventing rubber member is interposed between the partition wall and the lower plate so as to define a lower damper liquid chamber therebetween. The upper damper liquid chamber communicates with the lower damper liquid chamber through an orifice. Either or both the upper damper liquid chamber and the lower damper liquid chamber is horizontally divided into a plurality of damper liquid subschambers by division plates extending in the vertical direction of the damper liquid chambers. Adjacent damper liquid subchambers communicate through orifices provided in the division plates.

An upper elastic film, disposed inside the upper vibration-preventing rubber member, has a portion spliced to the partition wall and its outer end part caulked to the upper plate. The upper damper liquid chamber is defined by the upper vibration-preventing rubber member and the upper elastic film.
