Abstract: A method for verifying personal information of a customer based on his telephone number, by using means automatically operated easily and at high-speed in a computer system, during a process in which the customer uses an e-commerce system. In a process in which a member-user terminal (2) and a transaction server (1) communicate to proceed an electronic-commerce procedure, if a telephone number of a member-user using the member-user terminal has been determined to be null by a telephone number research device (3), a WARNING message is sent to the member-user terminal. The WARNING message is such as to encourage the member-user to make a notification if there have been any changes in his personal information such as his telephone number.

Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic exchange capable of certainly making forwarding to a telephone at the forwarding destination. When an electronic exchange receives a forwarding acknowledgement signal “Facility message” from an electronic exchange, if a telephone to be called is idle, the electronic exchange makes the telephone shift to the receiving standby state for the forwarding, turns on an extension button of the telephone and sets the call transmission and the call reception except for the forwarding to be impossible.

Abstract: A cleaning system retrieves a telephone number from a telephone number list to regard as a called party number and sends a SETUP message to the network, in which a SPEECH or an AUDIO is designated as a bearer capability. In case that an ALERTING or CONNECT message is sent back from the network, the system sends a DISCONNECT message to the network immediately to perform a clear sequence and determines the telephone number effective. In case that a DISCONNECT message is sent back from the network as a result that a call has not been accepted, the system also performs a clear sequence immediately and determines if the telephone number should be treated as an effective number or a null number according to the cause content sent from the network.

Abstract: A personal computer having a speech recognition board and speech synthesis board are connected to a key service unit via a control information communication path and media information communication path. Upon executing an exchange service, it is checked if that exchange service uses media information. When the service uses media information, up and down channels are set on the media information communication path, and voice guidance and a voice dial signal for voice dialing are transferred via these channels, thus making the personal computer execute speech recognition required for voice dialing and a search process of a callee telephone number on the basis of the recognition result.

Abstract: A personal information verification method in a call center is provided. The method comprises: (1) a process of connecting a telephone; (2) a process wherein a telephone number research device sends a SETUP message to an ISDN; obtains a message sent in reply thereto from the ISDN and performs a clear sequence; and analyzes the message obtained from the ISDN; (3) a process in which if the telephone number is determined to be null, the telephone number research device notifies an operator terminal of such determination; and (4) a process in which the notice, sent to the operator terminal to notify that the telephone number is null, is displayed on a screen of the operator terminal having received the notice, and thereby informed to the operator responding to the customer.

Abstract: A credit status checking system for examining credit status of a customer immediately and easily, by utilizing a stored customer telephone number through a computer system performing the examining procedure automatically is disclosed. A telephone number examining apparatus connected with ISDN as a subscriber terminal processes circuit-switched call control procedures defined in the ITU-T recommendation Q.931 as a calling terminal. A database manager searches a customer file corresponding to a customer ID input by a customer through an automated transaction machine, retrieves a telephone number contained in the customer file, and transmits the number to the telephone number examining apparatus. The telephone number examining apparatus sends a SETUP message including an unrestricted or a restricted digital information in a bearer capability information element to the network where the telephone number received from the database manager defined as a called party number.

Abstract: A cleaning system for a telephone number list is capable of automatically perform deleting process for null telephone number and updating process for re-writing telephone number list.
