  • Patent number: 5928454
Abstract: A color thermal recording paper and a laminate sheet are pressed by urging of a press roller toward a transporting roller so as to contact each other tightly. When the recording paper and the laminate sheet pass by a ultraviolet lamp, ultraviolet rays are applied to them. The ultraviolet rays passes through a transparent sheet layer of the laminate sheet and is absorbed into an adhesive layer disposed under the transparent sheet layer. Ultraviolet-curing adhesive agents constituting the adhesive layer are hardened by the energy of the ultraviolet rays so that the adhesive layer is integrally adhered to a protect layer of the recording paper without gap. When the recording paper and the laminate sheet are adhered, heat is not used so that a cyan heat sensitive color layer of the recording paper which is not fixed by the ultraviolet rays is prevented from coloring. Accordingly, a recorded image is not changed in quality.

  • Patent number: 5636315
Abstract: Upon detecting a freeze button depressed, while a tape is played back on a video tape player, a system control of a video printer supplies the tape player with a control signal to stop the playback operation on the tape. In the state in which the playback operation on the tape is stopped, a subsequent depression of the freeze button causes the system control to send out a control signal to instruct the tape player to initiate the playback operation on the tape, and a storing of picture signals in a frame memory causes the system control to send out the control signal to instruct the tape player to stop the playback operation.

  • Patent number: 5231500
Abstract: A detecting and monitoring device which observes a detected object, includes a video camera with a solid state image pickup device including elements divided into two lines corresponding to an actuating timing of each line, a still video recorder for frame recording a picture image signal in an odd number field and picture image signal in a successive even number field as a picture image signal for one scope, a monitor, an emitting device for emitting a flash, and a strobo synchronizer so as to control the emitting device for emitting the flash in the even number field after an external trigger is input. The still video recorder records the odd field picture image signal and the even field picture image signal including the picture image illuminated under the flash. Thereby, the brightness of the picture image signal in the odd number field and the even number field are substantially equal to prevent flickering from occurring.

  • Patent number: 4991121
Abstract: An image display system in which a plurality of magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus can be controlled via interfaces by a computer. The computer is adapted to output specification data for specifying one or more magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus to be controlled as well as control data including at least data on the shift of one or more magnetic recording/reproducing heads of the magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus to be specified. Each interface decodes the data input from the computer and transmits a given piece of control data to the magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus specified. The specified magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus shifts the magnetic recording/reproducing head in the radial direction of a rotating magnetic recording medium in accordance with the data on the shift of the magnetic recording/reproducing head applied through the above interface, and records signals into an arbitrary track or reproduces signals from an arbitrary track.

  • Patent number: 4959599
Abstract: An apparatus for positioning a recording or playback head over a rotating recording medium, such as a magnetic disk. When access to a desired track is attempted, the head is quickly moved and placed within a range close to the track under open loop control. When the head enters the range close to the desired track, the head control is switched to servo feed under closed loop control. During the servo feed, the head is moved according to a head position signal representing the actual position of the head, the head position signal being given by a head position detector having a portion moving together with the head. The head is thus directed to a predetermined position according to an error signal corresponding to the deviation of the head position. When the head has passed through the desired position, driving force in the reverse direction is generated and the head is forced back toward the desired position. The head thus oscillates around the desired position but converges to it.

  • Patent number: 4907092
Abstract: A data signal is modulated by an exclusive-OR operation applied to a carrier signal and a data signal to be recorded. Demodulation is similarly performed by an exclusive-OR operation applied to the carrier signal and signal indicative of read data. This makes it possible to construct the modulating/demodulating circuit in the form of a digital circuit.

  • Patent number: 4897590
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for gaining high-speed random access to a track in a magnetic recording/playback system of the type in which a magnetic head is shifted to an adjacent track in response to a forward-feed/reverse-feed signal and the head is positioned at the center of this track by tracking control. When the track number of a track to be accessed is designated, the designated track number is compared with a track number at which the magnetic head is presently located. An apparatus is provided for fast-feeding the magnetic head to a track adjoining the designated track on the basis of the comparison, and for subsequently outputting the forward-feed/reverse-feed signal for the purpose of tracking control.

  • Patent number: 4812922
Abstract: A still video signal playback apparatus having the capability of recording a still video signal includes an ordinary recording mode and a recording review mode. When the ordinary recording mode has been set, an inputted video signal is recorded on a predetermined track of a magnetic disk by a magnetic head, after which the magnetic head is moved to the next track. When the recording review mode has been set, the apparatus is returned to a playback mode after the inputted video signal is recorded, the recorded picture is played back for a fixed period of time, and then the magnetic head is moved to the next track to stand by for the next command.
