  • Patent number: 10354358
Abstract: An image generation device performs coordinate transformation, based on a coordinate transformation table, to a two-dimensional first image having a span in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction and acquired by overlooking and imaging an object from a first viewpoint at a first depression angle, and generates and outputs a second image which was obtained by overlooking the object from a second viewpoint which is different from the first viewpoint at a second depression angle which is different from the first depression angle. The coordinate transformation table is a table for transforming coordinates of a plurality of first selected pixels selected from a plurality of first pixels constituting the first image into coordinates of second selected pixels corresponding to a plurality of second pixels constituting the second image.

  • Publication number: 20170006234
Abstract: An image display device includes: a feature quantity detection condition specifying unit configured to specify a condition for detecting a predetermined feature quantity for an overhead view image of each image obtained by photographing a region in common from at least two different viewpoints; a feature quantity detecting unit configured to detect, by using the specified feature quantity detection condition, the feature quantity for each overhead view image; a blending ratio specifying unit configured to specify, based on the feature quantity, a blending ratio to be used when blending pixels of the overhead view images; and an overhead view image combining unit configured to produce and output a combined overhead view image by blending the pixels of the overhead view images based on the blending ratio.

  • Patent number: 9485438
Abstract: An image detection unit extracts image feature values from images of each camera. An image conversion unit computes a blend rate according to the image feature values and composites an image of a superposition area wherein a plurality of camera images overlap. An assessment is made of a correspondence of the image feature values of each image in the superposition area, and a determination is made that a solid object is present if the correlation is weak. Furthermore, a determination is made that the solid object is present in the superposition area if the image feature values in each image have locationally overlapping portions. In such a circumstance, the image is composited with the blend rate of the image with a greater image feature value set large.

  • Patent number: 6366603
Abstract: A spread spectrum communication system including a transmission side for transmitting a frame-structured transmission signal containing at least one preamble (having information on a transmission destination) and data subsequent to the preamble(s) while spread-spectrum-modulating the transmission signal with a PN code, and a reception side having a correlator for performing correlation between the PN code of the transmission signal and a reference PN code and a PN code generator for generating the reference PN code. At the reception side, the PN code of the preamble of the transmission signal and the reference PN code are correlated with each other to obtain correlation peaks, and the periodicity of the correlation peaks is detected and a prescribed number of correlation peaks is counted, thereby identifying the transmission signal as being addressed to the receiver.
