  • Publication number: 20230091485
Abstract: An approach is disclosed that receives estimates pertaining to tasks in a project from project members working on an agile project. The estimates are adjusted using corrections received from an artificial intelligence (AI) system using a previously trained model with each of the corrections pertaining to one of the estimates. A risk level of the project is determined based on the corrected estimates. Completion data sets are then received from the project members upon completion of the project members' respective tasks. The completion data sets are then used to further training the AI system's model.

  • Publication number: 20230092233
Abstract: An approach is provided in which the approach captures a set of individual indices corresponding to a set of psychological conditions of individual members of a team during a set of phases of a project. The approach computes, based on the set of individual indices, a set of team indices corresponding to the set of psychological conditions indicating a team state in each one of the set of phases of the project. The approach transmits a recommendation to a user in response to detecting a set of differences between the set of team indices and a set of expected values. The recommendation includes an action to increase the set of team indices.

  • Publication number: 20200210940
Abstract: An approach is provided in which an information handling system computes work role correlation values corresponding to work role pairs that each includes a pair of work roles corresponding to a project. The information handling system groups resources corresponding to the work roles into resource sets, each of which including a unique set of resources. Next, the information handling system computes resource set scores for each of the resource sets based on their respective unique set of resources and the work role correlation values. In turn, the information handling system selects one of the resource sets based on the resource set scores.

  • Publication number: 20180136965
Abstract: A mechanism is provided for predicting a rework rate due to the communication error in a transfer task. A rework rate value and feedback analysis is determined based on a soundness of a communication provided by a first entity in the transfer task. The rework rate value and the feedback analysis is sent to a project manager, where, using the rework rate value and the feedback analysis, the project manager provides an indication. The transfer task is sent back to the first entity indicating that more information is required for the transfer task in response to receiving an indication to redirect the transfer task back to the first entity to re-perform the transfer task. The second entity is enabled to commence with the subsequent task in response to receiving an indication to enable the second entity to commence with the subsequent task.

  • Patent number: 9606792
Abstract: A method includes obtaining, by one or more processor, an indication that a first task assigned to a first entity is complete and that a second task is assigned to a second entity (the second task is subsequent to the first task). In response to obtaining the first indication, the one or more processor generates a third task, which includes a transfer task from the first entity to the second entity before the second entity commences the second task. The one or more processor identifies data to be communicated to the second entity by the first entity, before the commencement of the second task by the second entity. The one or more processor obtains an indication that the third task is complete; and in response to obtaining this indication, determines whether during the third task the first entity communicated a pre-defined portion of the data to the second entity.
