Abstract: A radio communication device such as a pager which can display messages which have been received during a fixed time period at high speed is presented. A radio reception section extracts a message that has been addressed to the radio communication device from a selective calling signal. The received messages and information concerning the messages are stored in a memory section. An input section lets the user input information such as a selection concerning whether the user intends to let a display section display all the messages which have been stored in the memory section or the messages which have been received during the fixed time period. A control section executes relating using directory #2 information concerning the messages received during the fixed time period, when a message received during the fixed time period is stored in the memory section.

Abstract: In a radio select call receiving device, a memorizing device memorizes a message data from a message receiving device. A displaying device displays the message data which are memorized in the memorizing device when the displaying device is supplied with a message display indicating signal. A message memory controlling device controls the memorizing device so that the message memory controlling device makes the memorizing device memorize plural message data, as plural associated message data, when the message memory controlling device is supplied with the plural message data which are associated. A display controlling device controls the displaying device so that the display controlling device makes the displaying device, in a scroll fashion and at a scroll speed, display the plural associated message data in response to a timed value. A time controlling device times a message data displaying time of the displaying device to produce and supply the timed value to the display controlling device.

Abstract: A radio selective calling receiver which has a telephone directory memory for storing telephone directory data constituted by a telephone number and a name and, upon receiving a message from a partner corresponding to the telephone number stored in the telephone directory memory, displays telephone directory data corresponding to the telephone number includes a unit for extracting the telephone number and the name from the received message and registering the telephone number and the name in the telephone directory memory as the telephone directory data.

Abstract: Number of transmissions is counted for each of the destination telephone numbers and the transmission messages, and the counted number of transmissions is stored in association with the destination telephone number and the transmission messages. After the stored number of transmissions has exceeded a predetermined number, the reaching is notified at a predetermined interval. The telephone number, the transmission message and the number of transmissions are displayed concurrently with the notification, and DTMF signals are automatically produced by operation with keys.
