  • Patent number: 11575545
Abstract: In a transmission device connected by AC coupling, time taken before the start of transmission of valid data is shortened. The transmission device includes an internal resistor, an internal circuit, and a transmission-side control unit. One end of the internal resistor is connected to an output terminal connected to a capacitor. The internal circuit supplies one of a plurality of potentials different from each other to another end of the internal resistor. The transmission-side control unit performs control to supply one of the plurality of potentials to the internal circuit over a period from time when a potential of the output terminal is initialized to a predetermined initial value to timing when the potential of the output terminal reaches a predetermined specified value.

  • Patent number: 11043979
Abstract: Provided is a transmission device including: a transmission circuit that operates, on the basis of a mode signal indicating a first operation mode corresponding to a data transmission period or a second operation mode corresponding to a data transmission pause period, in the first operation mode or the second operation mode, and transmits data in which a clock signal is embedded; and a power supply noise reduction circuit that reduces noise of a power supply that supplies power to the transmission circuit when switching is performed between the first operation mode and the second operation mode.

  • Patent number: 11038665
Abstract: There is provided a transmission apparatus including a clock signal generator that generates a clock signal and a transmitter that operates on the basis of the clock signal and transmits data in which the clock signal is embedded or a synchronization signal for maintaining CDR synchronization, in which during a period of data transmission, the clock signal generator generates a first clock signal for data transmission and the transmitter transmits data in which the first clock signal is embedded on the basis of the first clock signal, and during a pause period of data transmission, the clock signal generator generates a second clock signal having a frequency lower than that of the first clock signal and the transmitter transmits the synchronization signal on the basis of the second clock signal.
