The toilet lid is rotatably supported with respect to the casing. A second gap between the casing and the cover, a third gap between the casing and the closed toilet lid, and a fourth gap between the toilet and the cover each are connected to a back end portion of a first gap. The first gap is between the toilet and the closed toilet lid when viewed laterally.

The lock part restricts movement of the casing with respect to the toilet. The release part releases the restriction by the lock part. The release part includes an operation part and a transmission part. The transmission part transmits the operating force applied to the operation part to the lock part. The operation part is located at a position separated upward or downward from a lower end of the casing.

Between the two fixing portions, positions of the second plate-like member and the third plate-like member are in reverse to each other. Due to difference in the positions of the first projected portion and the second projected portion, the two stands cannot be attached at reverse positions. Once the orientation of one fixing portion is reversed, one fixing portion becomes the other fixing portion, and the two fixing portions are common components.

Abstract: Provided are a display apparatus and a television receiving apparatus with which safety may be assured while a casing is segmented. A display apparatus comprises: a display unit having a display screen in the front side thereof; a front cabinet which encompasses the peripheral edge part of the display unit; and a back cabinet which covers the rear side of the display unit. The back cabinet is formed from a back cabinet main body (41) in which an aperture (41a) is disposed, and a cover which is attached to the back cabinet main body (41) to close off the aperture (41a). The cover is configured from a material which differs from the material which configures the back cabinet main body (41).
