  • Patent number: 8977949
Abstract: An equivalence determination system (10) according to this invention includes a specifying means (11) and determination means (12). The specifying means (11) specifies parts of respective electronic documents in a document database that are rarely modified manually. The determination means (12) determines whether the parts specified by the specifying means (11) match each other between a plurality of electronic documents, and when determining that the parts match each other, specifies that these documents are a plurality of similar electronic documents. An electronic document which cites part or all of another electronic document and is slightly modified can be quickly specified in the document database.

  • Patent number: 8097951
Abstract: When an integrated circuit having an interlayer insulation film built up on top of a wiring layer is subjected to a heat treatment, it is unlikely that a void formed in the interlayer insulation film will rupture in a portion wherein are connected a narrow gap between wirings and a wide open part contiguous therewith. A corner part of a wiring positioned at a portion where a gap and an open part are connected is chamfered, and an end part of the gap is shaped so as to widen toward the open part. Providing the widening end part in the gap thus mitigates any discontinuity in the built up interlayer insulation film between the gap and the open part. As a result, the interlayer insulation film does not readily seal off an end of a void formed in the gap.

  • Publication number: 20070266431
Abstract: A firewall inspecting system is disclosed which prevents the network system of an organization under inspection services from suffering a failure or an undue load when the inspection services are provided to the network system. A policy extractor extracts a firewall policy from a firewall to be inspected, and converts the firewall policy in a non-unique policy independent of the type of the firewall. A communication unit of an inspecting system receives the non-unique policy from a client system. A virtual FW generator generates a virtual FW for emulating operation of the firewall, using the non-unique policy. A CPU which operates according to the virtual FW inspects the virtual FW by referring to an attribute of an inspection packet which has been generated in advance, and transmits an inspected result to the client system.

  • Publication number: 20060005228
Abstract: A policy normalizing means normalizes an entered security policy. Specifically, if the security policy does not include necessary items, the policy normalizing means compensates the security policy for the missing items by predefined values so that the security policy includes the necessary items. An behavior model generating means generates an behavior model representative of the operation of a network access controller based on the normalized security policy. In this event, the behavior model generating means generates an behavior model which is represented by a data structure that is not dependent on the type of the network access controller. A modifying means modifies the behavior model in accordance with a modification principle desired by an operator, and a configuration generating means generates configuration for the network access controller from the modified behavior model.

  • Patent number: 6183052
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling the turning behavior of a vehicle controls the braking forces of diagonally located wheels of the vehicle independently of depression of a brake pedal to produce a target braking force difference between the controlled wheels when the vehicle is turning, thereby applying a desired yaw moment to the vehicle. The braking forces of the controlled wheels are determined taking account of actual braking forces of respective non-controlled wheels which are located on the other, right or left side of the corresponding controlled wheels.

  • Patent number: 6081761
Abstract: An automatic deceleration control apparatus for a vehicle operates so as to secure appropriate tire grip performance, depending on the conditions of a road surface on which the vehicle runs turning, and restrain excessive rolling of the vehicle body, thereby stabilizing the turning behavior of the vehicle at all times. While the vehicle is turning on a high-friction road surface without undergoing yaw moment control, a safe vehicle speed is computed within the rollover limit of the vehicle. While the vehicle is turning on a low-friction road surface under yaw moment control, on the other hand, a safe vehicle speed that ensures satisfactory tire grip performance is computed in accordance with an estimated road friction coefficient. When the vehicle is about to exceed its safe speed as it turns, it is automatically decelerated to the safe speed or below. Thus, the vehicle can be prevented from spinning, drifting out, or rolling over.

  • Patent number: 5430650
Abstract: A rear-wheel steering control apparatus includes a controller, which performs a first-order lag process. This process is equivalent to a first-order lag transfer function and is represented by a time constant matching loadage data from a rear-wheel stroke sensor and a proportional constant matching vehicle speed data from a vehicle speed sensor. The first-order lag process is performed on a front-wheel steering angle, obtained based on steering-wheel angle data from a steering-wheel angle sensor, to thereby set a target rear-wheel steering angle. Steering of rear wheels to the set rear-wheel steering angle is carried out with a degree of first-order response delay corresponding to the loadage. Thereby, traveling stability and forepart turning performance of a vehicle are improved in various loading and steering conditions.
