Patent number: 8951024Abstract: An air blower includes a motor; a fan connected to an output shaft of the motor and rotatively driven by the motor; and a fan nut fixing the fan onto the output shaft of the motor, a diffusive substance is kept in the fan nut provided on the output shaft of the motor, and an ion generating unit is attached to a motor body concentrically with the output shaft. Therefore, the diffusive substance, positive ions and negative ions may be diffused without interrupting blowing and without harmfully affecting the air blowing function. Since the diffusive substance and the ion generating unit are provided inside a fan guard, an infant or the like may be prevented from touching them, and thus, the safety may be secured.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 2010Date of Patent: February 10, 2015Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Hikoya Ishii, Katsushi Morimoto

Publication number: 20120302817Abstract: A method for increasing a moisture content of a skin and improving skin elasticity by improving a moisture retaining function of a dermis without generating steam, mist and the like, and a beauty apparatus that supplies moisture to a skin are provided. A user is irradiated with positive and negative ions which are generated by using ion generation means 6 and carried by a low-speed air current from a blower 7, and a concentration of the ions for irradiating a skin surface is elevated to be a predetermined value or more, whereby the positive and negative ions react to produce water, which moistens the skin, and improves skin elasticity. Further, when the ions supplied from the ion generation means 6 is released from a blowoff port 61, the blowing speed is controlled at a low level while elevating the ion concentration.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 13, 2011Publication date: November 29, 2012Inventors: Emi Nishiuchi, Hiroaki Okano, Katsushi Morimoto, Norihiro Matsuoka, Kazuo Nishikawa, Nobuki Sakikawa

Publication number: 20070279437Abstract: A document-image acquiring unit acquires document-image data containing a document with an image size larger than a screen size of a display unit and display control data specifying an order of reading the document and a range of the document-image data to be displayed. A display control unit controls a display of specified range by moving a display area on the screen based on specified order. A determining unit determines whether a width of the range in a line direction in acquired document-image data is wider than a width of the screen. The display control unit moves the display area based on a result of determination by the determining unit.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 12, 2007Publication date: December 6, 2007Inventor: Katsushi Morimoto

Patent number: 5571967Abstract: The termite detecting device is placed in an expected invading passage for detecting damage or destruction caused by termites. One configuration of the device includes: a detecting wood sample for attracting termites; a detecting terminal being pressed against the detecting wood sample while the detecting wood sample is supplied with water as required; and a magnetic circuit capable of being opened and closed by the movement of the detecting terminal. When the detecting wood sample is eaten and damaged by termites and becomes fragile, the detecting terminal sinks into the detecting wood sample by virtue of a pressing force and the magnetic circuit is made open. As a result, the device detects the existence of termites. Alternatively, another configuration of the termite detecting device detects vibrations caused by termites so as to detect the invasion of termites.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 1994Date of Patent: November 5, 1996Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kunio Tanaka, Yuji Dohi, Akira Okamoto, Katsushi Morimoto, Gouichi Kagiyama
