  • Patent number: 11149611
Abstract: An exhaust purification unit includes: a connecting pipe transmitting exhaust gas to a selective reduction catalyst (SCR); a urea water injection valve arranged to face an exhaust upstream end of the connecting pipe and injecting urea water into the connecting pipe; a mixer chamber forming a flow path along which exhaust gas flows from an exhaust downstream end of a front stage casing and turns back to the exhaust upstream end of the connecting pipe; and a flow adjustment member provided in the mixer chamber, being a member having a truncated-cone shape which extends from a vicinity of the injection opening of the urea water injection valve towards the connecting pipe with a diameter thereof gradually increasing, in which a plurality of small holes is formed, and in which a claw that guides the exhaust gas towards the exhaust downstream-side is provided for each of the plurality of small holes.

  • Patent number: 10920633
Abstract: A maintenance pipe (30) used during maintenance of an exhaust purification device equipped with: a set of an oxidation catalyst (22) and a filter (23) for purifying exhaust gas from an engine (10); an upstream connecting pipe (16A) and a downstream connecting pipe (16B) which are mounted in a demountable way and guide the exhaust gas from the engine (10) to the oxidation catalyst (22); and an exhaust pipe injection device (24) and injectors (12) for increasing a concentration of unburned fuel contained in the exhaust gas. The maintenance pipe includes a flanged steel pipe (31) mounted to be replaceable with the downstream connecting pipe (16B), and a maintenance catalyst (32) that is housed in the flanged steel pipe (31), generates heat caused by oxidizing the unburned fuel contained in the exhaust gas from the engine (10), and heats the exhaust to discharge the exhaust to an exhaust downstream side.

  • Patent number: 10450921
Abstract: An exhaust purification system is equipped with: a linear exhaust pipe through which exhaust gas emitted from an engine passes; an injection nozzle that injects a reducing agent into the exhaust pipe at an oblique angle with respect to the axial direction of the pipe; a reduction catalyst that is provided in the exhaust system downstream from the injection nozzle, and that purifies the exhaust gas by causing the exhaust gas to react with the reducing agent; and a mixer member that is provided inside the exhaust pipe 13, downstream from the injection nozzle, and that causes the reducing agent to mix with the exhaust gas and diffuse. The mixer member includes multiple fins protruding downstream, and is arranged inclined inside the exhaust pipe such that the upstream surface thereof faces the injection opening surface of the injection nozzle.

  • Patent number: 10054027
Abstract: There is provided an exhaust purification apparatus for an internal combustion engine in which a catalyst capable of adsorbing and oxidizing hydrocarbon is provided in an exhaust pipe, the exhaust purification apparatus including temperature detection means for detecting a temperature of the catalyst, estimation means for accumulating a time during which the temperature of the catalyst detected by the temperature detection means is equal to or less than a predetermined temperature, and estimating an amount of hydrocarbon adsorbed on the catalyst from the accumulated time, and control means for controlling fuel ejection of the internal combustion engine in a first ejection mode in which the temperature of the catalyst is increased to a temperature where hydrocarbons adsorbed on the catalyst are oxidized, in a case in which the amount of hydrocarbons estimated by the estimation means exceeds a predetermined upper limit.
