  • Patent number: 5027495
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of fixing a pipe by using a plate-like support with the said of an elastic holding piece or pieces. The plate-like support has a fitting hole through which it is fixed to the structure related to the pipe and a pipe clamping hole through which the pipe is inserted. Further, the elastic holding piece has a flat bottom surface and is provided with an engaging wall and an engaging claw at the front and rear ends thereof, respectively, with the provision of an engaging groove therebetween and the pipe has at least a flat portion on the outer periphery thereof. Accordingly, when the pipe is inserted into the clamping hole of the plate-like support after the holding piece is attached to the pipe, the engaging groove of the holding piece is brought into engagement with the inner periphery of the pipe clamping hole of the plate-like support with the bottom surface of the holding piece being in contact with the flat portion of the pipe.

  • Patent number: 5007267
Abstract: A bellows pipe is manufactured from a raw pipe, with an elastic body pinched between a movable core and a fixed core inside the raw pipe, by compressing the elastic body by axially moving the movable core to form an annular convex portion in the raw pipe, changing the annular convex portion to a bellows portion by axially moving a punch to press the annular convex portion, pinching the bellows portion between a chuck and a chuck inner block assembled therein, shifting the pipe a given distance by axially moving the chuck and chuck inner block holding the bellows portion therebetween, and repeating the foregoing steps. Therefore, a small-diameter raw pipe of smaller than 16 mm diameter can be deformed, the outer diameter, pitch, etc. of a bellows portion can be freely set, the elastic body is worn little.

  • Patent number: 4902048
Abstract: Herein disclosed is a joint structure for jointing the ends of two pipes to each other. One pipe has its one end portion formed with a plurality of slots arrayed circumferentially in its wall and with an inward projecting annular wall or a tapered annular wall positioned axially inside the slots to provide a receiving seat surface facing the other pipe. This other pipe is formed generally at its tip with a reduced annular wall providing a pushing seat surface and with at least one engagement groove positioned axially at the back of the reduced annular wall and extending in the circumference. These two pipes are jointed together by holding the inward projecting or tapered annular wall in abutment against the seat surface of the reduced annular wall, by fastening that one pipe at its portions of the slots in the engagement groove to reduce and deform it.
