  • Publication number: 20110046318
Abstract: Disclosed is an additive which is produced by treating a raw material for the additive with carbon dioxide under pressure and reducing the pressure, wherein the raw material comprises one or more components.
    Type: Application
    Filed: February 16, 2009
    Publication date: February 24, 2011
    Applicant: BLH Ecology Concepts, L.L.C.
Inventors: Katsuto Otake, Hitoshi Takebayashi, Masahiko Yokosuka
  • Publication number: 20040099976
Abstract: A method for producing liposome encapsulating a desired substance is provided. The method is characteristic in that an aqueous phase containing the substance to be encapsulated is added to a homogenous fluid mixture of a phospholipid or a glycolipid and carbon dioxide either under a supercritical condition or under a condition in which temperature or pressure is higher than or equal to its critical point. This method makes it possible to produce liposomes with improved trapping efficiency in fewer steps and without using harmful organic solvents.
    Type: Application
    Filed: April 8, 2003
    Publication date: May 27, 2004
Inventors: Katsuto Otake, Masahiko Abe, Hideki Sakai, Tomohiro Imura, Chihiro Kaise, Masatoshi Sakurai, Yoichiro Arai, Teruhisa Kaneko
  • Patent number: 6124519
Abstract: A method of decomposing a polychlorobiphenyl compound-containing material into an unharmful state, wherein the material is treated with a supercritical water containing an alkaline substance at a temperature higher than the critical temperature of water and a pressure higher than the critical pressure of water.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 12, 1997
Date of Patent: September 26, 2000
Assignee: Director-General of Agency of Industrial Science and Technology
Inventors: Takeshi Sako, Masahito Sato, Tsutomu Sugeta, Katsuto Otake, Makoto Okano
  • Patent number: 5777192
Abstract: A method of decomposing dioxin compounds, such as polychlorodibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorodibenzofurans, contained in a waste material into unharmful substances, wherein the waste material is treated with a supercritical water at a temperature higher than the critical temperature of water and a pressure higher than the critical pressure of water.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 21, 1997
Date of Patent: July 7, 1998
Assignee: Director-General of Agency of Industrial Science and Technology
Inventors: Takeshi Sako, Masahito Sato, Tsutomu Sugeta, Katsuto Otake, Masayuki Tsugumi
