  • Publication number: 20150258798
Abstract: A recording apparatus includes a housing; a recording head that is provided inside the housing and records an image on paper by ejecting ink on the paper; a case that is attached to the housing in such a manner that the case can be separated from a side wall of the housing; and a first supply tube that supplies ink in a liquid container body contained in the case to the recording head. A through hole is provided in the side wall of the housing so as to allow the first supply tube to pass therethrough, and a through hole is provided in the case so as to allow the first supply tube to pass therethrough. The through hole in the case expands to be larger than the through hole in the side wall.

  • Patent number: 9132652
Abstract: A liquid container includes a liquid storage part with which one end portion is constituted of a plurality of film members, and a liquid supply part for supplying a liquid stored in the liquid storage part to a liquid consumption apparatus. The liquid supply part has a bonded part that is bonded to the film member at the one end portion of the liquid storage part, and a liquid supply tube part at which is formed a liquid supply port oriented in a direction intersecting with a bonding surface of the bonded part. The liquid supply tube part is provided so that at least one part of the liquid supply port overlaps with the bonded part as viewed in an axial direction of the liquid supply tube part from a side of the liquid supply port.

  • Patent number: 9079413
Abstract: A liquid container includes an ink chamber containing an ink to be supplied via a tube to a liquid ejecting head consuming the ink; an outlet port from which the ink contained in the ink chamber flows to the tube side; an injection port through which the ink can be injected into the ink chamber; and an air intake port taking air into the ink chamber from a further vertically upper position than a liquid level of the ink when the ink is contained in the ink chamber. If the ink equal to 5% of containing capacity containable in the ink chamber flows from the outlet port, the liquid container has an area where a fluctuation range of the liquid level of the ink inside the ink chamber becomes 5% or less of the cubic root of the containing capacity.

  • Patent number: 8967779
Abstract: A flow channel member to which an ink cartridge is removably mounted has a sealing member made of an elastic material around the entire periphery of an installation section of a flow channel member main body. The sealing member is integrally formed of: a top plane portion, where an end face of a leg portion abuts the top plane portion so as to define an enclosed space between an inner peripheral surface of the leg portion and an outer peripheral surface of the installation section; and an inner leg portion and an outer leg portion extending from edges of the top plane portion along the longitudinal axis of the installation section, and having end faces, abutting the flow channel member main body. Furthermore, the sealing member has curved thicker portions.
