Patent number: 8299303Abstract: There is provided a process for producing a concentrated solution of quaternary ammonium hydroxide which is characterized in that quaternary ammonium hydroxide in a form of water-containing crystals or of an aqueous solution is mixed with a water-soluble organic solvent selected from the group consisting of glycol ether, glycol and triol and the resulting mixed solution is subjected to a thin-film distillation in vacuo so as to evaporate the low boiling material. In accordance with this process, a concentrated solution of quaternary ammonium hydroxide having low water content is able to be easily produced.Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 2009Date of Patent: October 30, 2012Assignee: KNC Laboratories Co., Ltd.Inventors: Katsutoshi Hirose, Hiroya Koyama, Kimihiro Kamasaka, Taro Sasabe, Naoshi Kai

Patent number: 7997331Abstract: An air-conditioning system allows adjustment of the vented air temperature of a rear seat evaporator. An electronic control system judges whether the surface of the rear seat evaporator is frosting up when 1) a target blowing rate of the rear seat blower is lower than a predetermined value, 2) a detected temperature of evaporator vented air is lower than a specified temperature TEa, and 3) a detected temperature of the outside air is lower than a specified temperature TAMa. A target temperature TEO is raised at this time, so that an electric motor of an electric compressor is stopped and refrigerant no longer flows into the rear seat evaporator. The surface temperature of the rear seat evaporator rises so that the rear seat evaporator can be defrosted.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2007Date of Patent: August 16, 2011Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Mitsuyo Oomura, Takeshi Wakisaka, Katsutoshi Hirose

Publication number: 20090061261Abstract: A gas physical quantity detecting device is basically provided with detection element, a detection element chamber and a filter. The detection element is configured to detect a physical quantity of a gas flowing through a gas flow passage. The detection element chamber contains the detection element and configured to supply gas from inside the gas flow passage to the detection element. The filter is arranged between the gas flow passage and the detection element chamber. The filter has a predetermined thickness with the filter being made of a non-hydrophobic material.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 26, 2008Publication date: March 5, 2009Applicant: NISSAN MOTOR CO., LTD.Inventors: Kentaro HATTA, Katsutoshi HIROSE

Publication number: 20070209789Abstract: An air-conditioning system preventing the vented air temperature of a rear seat evaporator from not being able to be adjusted, wherein an electronic control system judges that the surface of the rear seat evaporator is frosting up when a target blowing rate of the rear seat blower is lower than a predetermined value, a detection temperature of an evaporator vented air temperature sensor is lower than TEa, and a detection temperature of the outside air temperature sensor is lower than TAMa; TEO is raised at this time, so an electric motor of an electric compressor is stopped; refrigerant no longer flows into the rear seat evaporator for this reason and the surface of the rear seat evaporator rises in temperature, so the rear seat evaporator can be defrosted; and even if the surface of the rear seat evaporator frosts, the rear seat evaporator 8 can be defrosted, so the vented air temperature of the rear seat evaporator can be prevented from not being able to be adjusted.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 8, 2007Publication date: September 13, 2007Applicant: DENSO CorporationInventors: Mitsuyo Oomura, Takeshi Wakisaka, Katsutoshi Hirose

Patent number: 6021957Abstract: A motor vehicle air conditioner that is operative to cause the quantity of conditioned air to change smoothly when an air conditioner bypass passage is opened/closed. When a user switches a typical automotive air conditioner between a bi-level flow mode and a full outer-air mode, a warm-air bypass door does not stop at an intermediate position, thus causing both air quantity of conditioned air and blown-air temperature of conditioned air to change greatly. In the air conditioner of the present invention, the air conditioner warm-air bypass door stops once at an intermediate position, thus enabling the air quantity of the conditioned air and the temperature change in the blown-air to change gradually.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 1998Date of Patent: February 8, 2000Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Tetsuya Takechi, Yasuhiro Sato, Toshihiko Muraki, Katsutoshi Hirose, Kazuo Kito
