    Abstract: This invention relates to a method of plate rolling, wherein, in plate rolling, a value corresponding to the difference in width between the center and the end portions of a material to be rolled is estimated and calculated, sizing rolling is carried out by subjecting the material to plate rolling of plan view pattern control only at the opposite end portions thereof with a difference in gap between upper and lower work rolls in the axial direction thereof corresponding to said value, and to an equipment for use in said method.
