  • Patent number: 5848649
Abstract: A fire extinguisher has a pipe member for containing a cylinder filled with liquefied extinguishing gas, and a pusher guide member and a nozzle having an ejection hole formed therein are fitted to upper and lower openings, respectively, of the pipe member. A cylinder receiver to which the cylinder is fitted is mounted to the pusher guide member, and a pusher having a needle provided with a striker pin is movably arranged within the pusher guide member. Axial movement of the pusher is inhibited by a safety plate fitted in a groove formed in the outer peripheral surface of the pusher.

  • Patent number: 4566384
Abstract: An intaglio printing plate having an elastic rubber layer, a photo-sensitive layer and an oil-repellent layer, which are laminated in order onto the base plate. The recesses on the plate face, which correspond to the image line section, is formed by removing the surface to a desired depth depending on the printing purpose. And also, the intaglio printing process to the hard object to be printed by means of this printing plate.

  • Patent number: 4522123
Abstract: There is provided a device for removing pinholes produced in printing comprising a levelling roller provided in contact with a form plate and/or a peripheral surface of a blanket cylinder so that an ink film transferred to the plate and/or the peripheral surface of the blanket cylinder may be levelled or smoothed before the ink film contacts a printing object. There is also provided a device for removing pinholes comprising a levelling roller of which peripheral surface is an oil-repellent layer.

  • Patent number: 4476782
Abstract: A second impression cylinder is pressed against the images on the objects printed by an ordinary printing machine in a period during the ink solution deposited thick onto the objects being in a half-dried state. The second impression cylinder is covered at least partially with a smooth oil-repellent layer so that the rugged surfaces of said printed images are made thereby even and flat without any undesirable stain.

  • Patent number: 4454810
Abstract: The embodiment of a lithography or intaglio printing apparatus described herein include a plate cylinder, an impression cylinder adapted to be periodically pressed against the plate cylinder for rotation therewith at the same speed as that of said plate cylinder, and inking rollers in contact with the surface of a plate. The length of a printing plate mounted on the plate cylinder is less than a half of the peripheral length of the plate cylinder and is also less than the peripheral distance between the contact points of inking rollers with the surface of the printing plate and of the objects to be printed with the surface of the printing plate. The impression cylinder is moved intermittently toward said printing plate to urge sheet material into contact therewith and the periods during which the inking rollers and the sheet material are maintained in contact with the printing plate may be changed independently.

  • Patent number: 4423678
Abstract: An impression cylinder is adapted to be disengaged from a plate cylinder after an image area of printing plate attached thereon has passed through the contact point where the cylinders abut each other, but before the trailing end of an object that is printed will pass through said contact point. The disengagement as well as the engagement of said cylinders are controlled by means of a mechanism comprising scale disks each of which has an adjustable angle index and is driven to rotate synchronously with the plate cylinder.
