  • Publication number: 20190170755
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for detecting circulating tumor cells, comprising steps of: capturing cells in a blood sample on a filter; contacting an antibody that is labeled with a first fluorescent dye and recognizes a leukocyte marker protein with the cell-captured filter; contacting an animal serum, a surfactant and an antibody that is labeled with a second fluorescent dye and recognizes an epithelial cell marker protein with the cell-captured filter; contacting a third fluorescent dye that stains nucleic acids with the cell-captured filter; and detecting fluorescences emitted from each cell captured on the filter.

  • Publication number: 20190033186
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for capturing rare cells, comprising a step of adding beads to a fluid containing rare cells and contaminating cells; and a step of filtering, with a filter, the fluid to which the beads have been added. According to this method, rare cells can be enriched with the rare cells selectively captured from a fluid containing the rare cells and contaminating cells.

  • Publication number: 20180095086
Abstract: The present invention relates to a standard cell suspension for confirming the stainability of a treatment solution that differentially stains circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and leucocytes, containing (a) a cell line having an antigen that is specific for human cancer cells and (b) a cell line having an antigen that is specific for human leukocytes, wherein the (a) and (b) components are each a cell line that is fixed by a cell-fixing reagent.

  • Publication number: 20160169781
Abstract: A cell-trapping system according to one embodiment of the present invention is a cell-trapping system which traps specific cells in blood by passing the blood from a first principal surface side of a filter with a plurality of through-holes formed across a thickness of a sheet toward a second principal surface side opposed to the first principal surface, wherein a linear velocity of the blood at a point in time when the blood passes through the filter is 1 cm/min to 40 cm/min, an aperture ratio of the filter is 3% to 10%, the plurality of through-holes disposed in the filter each have a rectangular shape or a rounded-corner rectangular shape, and a mean of minor pore diameters of the plurality of through-holes on the first principal surface side is 7.0 ?m to 10.0 ?m.
