  • Publication number: 20030137364
Abstract: An antenna duplexer capable of optimally decreasing the insertion loss and the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) at a center frequency and its vicinity in the pass band in transmitter-band of the device. The output port of transmitter surface-acoustic-wave (SAW) filter (11) is electrically connected with phase shift circuit (13), to which receiver SAW filter (12) is also electrically connected. The transmitter and receiver SAW filters have different pass bands and attenuate the other pass band with each other. Phase shift circuit (13) shifts the phase of receiver SAW filter (12) in the transmitter-band. In addition, phase shift circuit (13) has the characteristic impedance in which the magnitude of the reflection coefficient at the center frequency in the transmitter-band of receiver SAW filter (12) is to be not less than 0.8 and the phase angle of reflection coefficient at the center frequency in the transmitter-band of receiver SAW filter (12) takes the range from 0° to 45°.

  • Publication number: 20030048999
Abstract: An optical unit includes photoelectric conversion modules, a plurality of adapter support members whose upper parts are rotatably supported, and a plurality of optical connector adapters attached to lower ends of the adapter support members so as to be arranged next to each other, the optical connector adapters being contained in the optical unit. The adapter support members are rotated separately so that the optical connector adapters are extracted outside from the optical unit with a space formed between each adjacent two of said optical connector adapters. Each of the optical connector adapters has insertion holes to which optical connectors of optical fibers extending from the photoelectric conversion modules and optical connectors of external optical fibers are connected.

  • Patent number: 6472953
Abstract: A band switching filter includes a resonator circuit having a surface acoustic wave resonator, a switching element and an impedance element. The filter selectively passes or attenuates a signal through one of two pass bands using a single filter. The resonant frequency of the resonator circuit can be shifted to another frequency by selectively connecting the surface acoustic wave resonator to an impedance element using a switching element.

  • Publication number: 20020012238
Abstract: A communication device includes a sub-rack unit and a plurality of plug-in units. The sub-rack unit includes a back wiring board having first connectors arranged in lines thereon, and a frame plate including vertical ribs and placed on said back wiring board so that the vertical ribs separate the lines of the first connectors. Each of the plug-in units includes: a printed board including top and bottom sides and parallel first and second sides, the printed board having second connectors provided on the first side thereof; a metal case including top and bottom faces, and parallel first and second side faces so as to cover the printed board; and first and second spring members. Each of said plug-in units is mounted in the sub-rack unit with the first and second connectors being connected so that the first and second side faces of the metal case are pressed outward against the vertical ribs of the frame plate by resilient forces of the first and second spring members, respectively.

  • Patent number: 5043142
Abstract: .alpha.-Hydroperoxyisopropylphenyl compounds are useful as an organic hydroxyperoxide content in test compositions for the measurement of peroxide-active substances and are effectively utilized for detecting peroxide-active substances such as blood or hemoglobin (occult blood).Test devices for the detection of occult blood are constituted of a carrier in which organic hydroperoxide, coloration indicator, buffering agent, wetting agent, activating agent and stabilizer are impregnated. If hemoglobin is present in a specimen, the organic hydroperoxide is activated to produce nascent oxygen with which the indicator is oxidized and develops color.
