  • Patent number: 11618427
Abstract: A vehicle control device that controls a vehicle electric brake system includes: a shutdown determination part that determines whether the vehicle control device itself has been previously shut down normally or abnormally; a cranking determination part that determines whether an instruction to perform a cranking at a start-up of the vehicle is based on a manual operation of a driver of the vehicle or automatically; a diagnosis part that performs a plurality of initial diagnoses of the vehicle control device at the start-up of the vehicle; and a diagnosis skip control part configured to provide control such that the diagnosis part skips at least one of the initial diagnoses when the shutdown determination part determines that the vehicle control device has been previously shut down abnormally, and at the same time, when the cranking determination part determines that the cranking has been conducted based on the driver's manual operation.

  • Publication number: 20220176924
Abstract: A vehicle brake system including: a pressurizing motor that is connected to a brake pedal and configured to increase a braking force that is generated; and a processor. The processor is configured with a program to perform operations including: operation as an information acquisition part to obtain information on whether a shift position of an automatic transmission is in a non-driving mode and information on operation on the brake pedal; and operation as a braking force controller to perform, when a predetermined retention condition is met, control of braking force so that a stationary state of a host vehicle is maintained. When the predetermined retention condition is met and the shift position is in the non-driving mode, the braking force controller is configured to perform control to increase the braking force that is generated using the pressurizing motor once the brake pedal is in a non-operated state.

  • Patent number: 10753333
Abstract: A vehicle control system includes a boost device, a braking unit, a cell motor, and a start operating unit. The boost device boosts a braking force applied by a foot brake to a vehicle with an output voltage from a battery. The braking unit, which is different than the foot brake, brakes the vehicle appropriately and keeps the braking force even in a case that the output voltage is not supplied from the battery, or which braking unit does not require the output voltage from the battery. The cell motor is driven by an output voltage from the battery and starts the engine. The start operation unit starts the cell motor, wherein the vehicle control system has a function not to start the cell motor when the start operation unit is operated, unless the braking unit is in operation.

  • Patent number: 9902394
Abstract: A vehicle behavior information acquisition device includes: a neutral characteristic setting unit in which a vehicle velocity-neutral yaw rate characteristic where a behavior of a user's vehicle is supposed to be in a neutral state is previously set based on a vehicle velocity and a steering angle of the vehicle; and a behavior information acquisition unit for acquiring behavior information including an understeer state of the vehicle based on an actual yaw rate, a vehicle velocity, a steering angle, and a vehicle velocity-neutral yaw rate characteristic previously set in the neutral characteristic setting unit. The behavior information acquisition unit acquires behavior information indicating that the vehicle is in an understeer state in a case where a deviation between the actual yaw rate and a neutral yaw rate based on the vehicle velocity, the steering angle, and the vehicle velocity-neutral yaw rate characteristic exceeds a predetermined deviation threshold.

  • Patent number: 7524130
Abstract: A member-joining device with which, when pipe members etc. are fixed to each other, a sufficient fastening force can be obtained even if the members have thin wall thickness. Member-joining device 8 has a first bridge member, a second bridge member and drawing means 6. First bridge member 81 joins first member 5 having a pair of opposing walls 53, 53 and a second member 31 having a pair of opposing walls 311, 311 and is spanned at a predetermined position of the first member between the opposing walls 53, 53. Second bridge member 82 is spanned at a predetermined position of second member 31 between the opposing walls 311, 311. Drawing means 6 draws first bridge member 81 and second bridge member 82 in the direction where both members are closer to each other. Accordingly, first member 5 and second member 31 are pressed and joined to each other by a drawing force of drawing means 6.

  • Patent number: 5165627
Abstract: The present invention is drawn to an improvement in the configuration of an inner lining plate of an aircraft fuselage wall, which will result in the sound transmission loss (TL) of the inner lining plate to occur in a frequency range covering the frequencies of external noises such as propeller sound, such that external noises transmitted from the inside of the aircraft fuselage can be reduced. The improvement resides in that a tensile rigidity in the circumferential direction of a substantially cylindrical fuselage wall inner lining plate is less than the tensile rigidity in the axial direction thereof. In this respect, the inner lining plate is provided with a large number of parallel crests extending in the axial direction.
