Publication number: 20090199404Abstract: With respect to an outer ring 2b in which a diameter DB1 of a first outer ring raceway 10c is greater than a diameter of a second outer ring raceway 10b (DB1>DB2), a method is realized which facilitates the entry of a grinding tool 12 into an inner side of the outer ring when these both outer ring raceways 10c and 10b are subjected to a grinding process. As shown in (A) to (B), the grinding tool 12 is made to enter the inner side of the outer ring 2b through an opening on a side close to the first outer ring raceway 10c between the openings at both ends of this outer ring 2b. Publication number: 20080190775Abstract: A method is realized for easily performing, without using a masking tape, an operation to accurately form a coating film 31 only on a coated section (?8) partly formed on the surface of a hub main body 13a. The upper end face of a rubber closed end cylindrical masking cover 32 is elastically pressed against the outside end surface of a cylindrical section 16 forming the hub main body 13a. As a result a border section between the coated section (?8) and the portion adjacent to the coated section (?8) can be made liquid-tight. In this state, coating particles are electrodeposited on the coated section (?8) by bringing a coating liquid 28 discharged from a liquid supply tube 29 into contact with the coated section (?8). By adopting such a method, the problems can be solved.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 20, 2007Publication date: August 14, 2008Inventors: Katsuyuki Kawamura, Yoshio Inoue, Satoru Endo, Hiroyuki Okuno

Publication number: 20070059577Abstract: A solid proton exchange membrane and a membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) for use in fabricating an inexpensive and efficient proton exchange fuel cell (PEFC) which enables direct use of an organic fuel without a reformer and use of hydrogen gas. In particular, an electrochemical cell including a solid electrolyte membrane made of one or plural kinds of layered silicate minerals or intercalation compounds. The layered silicate minerals can be easily fabricated into a solid electrolyte membrane which shows a “molecular sieve effect” on the target fuel if the density and impregnated liquid contents are properly controlled. The catalyst can be selected from a wide range of candidate materials. The use of the layered silicate mineral allows to fabricate an inexpensive direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) and a realistic direct ethanol fuel cell (DEFC). Furthermore, an energy-efficient PEFC using hydrogen gas can also be produced therefrom.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 20, 2003Publication date: March 15, 2007Inventors: Yasuaki Takeuchi, Satoru Suzuki, Katsuyuki Kawamura, Mitsuru Sano

Publication number: 20030152015Abstract: A photoreceiver amplifier circuit has an amplifier for amplifying the detection signal of a photoreceiver device, a plurality of negative feedback circuits connected between the input terminal and the output terminal of the amplifier in parallel with one another so as to form different negative feedback loops, and a switch circuit for selecting one among the plurality of negative feedback circuits. The frequency band and/or the gain of the photoreceiver amplifier circuit is varied according to the detection signal of the photoreceiver device. This makes it possible to switch the frequency band without degradation in amplification characteristics.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 5, 2003Publication date: August 14, 2003Applicant: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Katsuyuki Kawamura

Patent number: 6449832Abstract: A predetermined number of sprags 21 are consecutively inserted into sprag pockets 45 in a boss 44 on a rotary index table by a sprag inserting section 50. Then, a ribbon spring 22 is fitted to the boss 44 by a ribbon-spring fitting section 60, and an outer retainer 23 is fitted thereto by an outer-retainer fitting section 70. At the same time, the boss 44 is continuously rotated to move the sprags 21 radially outward by centrifugal force, thereby allowing the sprags 21 to be inserted and fitted into sprag inserting windows 28 and 30 of the ribbon spring 22 and the outer retainer 23. Further, an inner retainer 24 is fitted to the boss 44 by an inner-retainer fitting section 80 to insert and fit the sprags 21 into the sprag pockets 45 of the inner retainer 24.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 2000Date of Patent: September 17, 2002Assignee: NSK Ltd.Inventor: Katsuyuki Kawamura
