  • Patent number: 7361201
Abstract: An air cleaner device for exchanging an element without permitting dust and dirt collected between the element and an air guide member in a clean side to fall and for smoothly permitting intake air to be supplied to the engine. An air cleaner device includes a cylindrical element with an air guide member including a guide sleeve formed into a diameter smaller than an inner diameter between element inner walls of the element which are served for inserting the air guide member from one end of the element and flange portions which are formed on the guide sleeve to be brought into contact with one end surface of the element. A cleaner case houses the element and the air guide member and an air intake duct portion which is mounted on a lower portion of the cleaner case and is arranged below the air guide member.

  • Patent number: 7314107
Abstract: An air cleaner structure that is capable of achieving smooth air-intake capability while separating water contained in air to supply clean air to the engine side. A lower half member of an air-intake duct is, when viewed from above, provided with a central partition and partitions located symmetrically in the vicinity of the central partition, partitions located near both ends, and narrowing passages and widening passages surrounded by the partitions. Air enters from the front of the vehicle body and flows like eddy currents from outlet ports of the widening passages to the outlet ports of the narrowing passages like eddy currents. Thus, coarse particulate and dust contained in the air stay on the outlet port side of the air-intake duct.

  • Patent number: 6425248
Abstract: A method of providing a user who has installed a solar power generator with appropriate information, including the steps of receiving data of the quantity of generated power and quantity of power draw from a solar power generator connected to a network, calculating the quantity of buy power and quantity of sell power on a time zone basis, reading out a rate table of buy power and sell power, calculating the electric power charge for buy power and sell power classified into contract types, determining the type of contract that is most economical as to the value to be paid to a power company, calculated by subtracting the amount to be received for sell power from the amount to be paid for buy power, and producing appropriate information based on the determined contract type and calculated amount of payment.

  • Patent number: 5974024
Abstract: A disk hub of the present invention is provided with a hub's main body to which a magnetic plate is attached, an energy director for ultrasonically joining the disk, and a center hole to which a disk-drive spindle is inserted. The hub's main body, the energy director and the circumferential edge of the center hole are integrally molded into one part from a hard synthetic resin with which an abrasion-resistant resin in fine powder form such as, for example, fluororesin is blended. Thus, the friction resistance of the circumferential edge of the center hole is reduced, and abrasion of the center hole is also reduced even after repeated inserting and removing operations of the spindle into and from the center hole. Moreover, when, for example, poly-tetra-fluoroethylene, which is easily available at low costs, is used as the fluororesin, it becomes possible to provide an inexpensive disk hub, and also to reduce the friction resistance of the circumferential edge of the center hole effectively.
