  • Publication number: 20240004591
Abstract: An inspection apparatus includes a controller having one or more processors and one or more memories. The controller is configured to receive a plurality of image files. Each image file represents one page. Each image file is provided with a page number. The controller is also configured to receive page order information of the image files and to rearrange the image files based on the received page order information and the respective page number provided to each image file. The controller is also configured to register the rearranged image files as a correct image for inspection.

  • Publication number: 20230252618
Abstract: An inspection apparatus that reads an image formed on a printed material to generate a reference image of an inspection target, and specifies each region including an object in the reference image, and displays the regions such that the regions are selectable. Also, the inspection apparatus batch-sets inspection conditions for a plurality of regions selected by the user via the displayed reference image. Further, the inspection apparatus disables batch setting of an inspection condition in a case where a plurality of regions selected by the user include different regions that include objects of different inspection types. On the other hand, in a case where a plurality of regions selected by the user do not include such different regions, the inspection apparatus enables batch setting of an inspection condition.

  • Publication number: 20230058026
Abstract: When a user overlaps a region set for a picture examination and a region set for a data examination, the user is not notified that a print image examination is not performed on the overlap region. A printing system reads a printout, generates a scan image, performs a first examination to examine the printout based on the scan image and a correct image, and performs a second examination to examine data acquired from the printout based on data acquired from the scan image and correct data, and in a case where at least a first region to be examined by the first examination and a second region to be examined by the second examination are set in the correct image and the first region and the second region include an overlap region, the printing system provides a notification of the overlap of the first region and the second region.

  • Publication number: 20220038604
Abstract: It is guaranteed that a designated color that is a target of spot color matching is converted correctly into a destination color thereof at the time of output. In a case where drawing data for causing an image output apparatus to perform drawing of an image is generated, whether a designated color in a first color space, which is included in an input image, is converted into a destination color in a second color space, which can be handled by the image output apparatus, is determined at the time of output of the image. Then, in a case where it is determined that the conversion is performed, control is performed such that color adjustment is not performed for at least the designated color of colors included the input image.
