  • Patent number: 8321945
Abstract: A security measure status self-checking system which can determine the security measure status in a more simplified and effective manner by focusing on the information leakage measure in the security measures, managing the PC's security measure status and the user's take-out operation status in an integrated and unitary manner, and providing security policy samples. Accordingly, the client computer collects security inventory information and operation log information and transmits the information to the server computer. Further, the server computer stores the security inventory information and the operation log information transmitted from the client computer and determines whether or not the information conforms to the security policy which has been set in advance. The check result is displayed on the server computer and when a policy violation is detected, the manager and the client are notified of that effect.

  • Publication number: 20030190577
Abstract: The present invention provides an orthodontic bracket having a bonding surface that has excellent adhesiveness to a tooth surface due to undercuts having been formed by plastic deformation. A bracket 1 that is bonded to a tooth surface using an adhesive for orthodontic treatment is made from a plastic, specifically a polycarbonate or a polyamide. A bonding surface 4 of the bracket 1 is constituted from recessed parts 4a and protruding parts 4b. A projecting member 6 having a-tip part thereof formed into an approximately V-shaped pointed shape is pushed into an outside edge part of each protruding part 4b, whereby the protruding part 4b is pushed outward via a groove 4c. Side walls of each protruding part 4b thus spread out toward the recessed parts 4a, whereby undercuts 5 are formed in the bonding surface 4.

  • Patent number: 5762492
Abstract: An orthodontic appliance includes a configuration which makes it difficult for dental plaque to be deposited thereon and which prevents lateral movement of an arch wire as well as precisely preforming a torque shift without an auxiliary attachment wire. The orthodontic appliance is used in dental treatment includes a bracket having an arch wire passage formed therein to extend substantially horizontally and a lock pin insertion passage for insertion of a lock pin therethrough, the lock pin being substantially vertically oriented between the surface of a tooth and the arch wire passage for pressing the arch wire toward a side further from the tooth surface to thereby position the arch wire. The lock pin insertion passage has a bow-shape jetting toward the tooth surface and the lock pin is bow-shaped such that the following mathematical expression is satisfied:R.sub.P .ltoreq.R.sub.Lwherein R.sub.P is a radius of curvature of the lock pin insertion passage and R.sub.
