One hat includes a first portion, a second portion, an opening positioned at a rear portion of the hat between the first portion and the second portion, and a coupling mechanism. The coupling mechanism includes a first component positioned on the first portion and a second component positioned on the second portion, in which the first component and the second component of the coupling mechanism are configured to detachably engage each other across the opening between the first portion and the second portion, and a first hair port and a second hair port are created in the opening at the rear portion of the hat when the first and second components of the coupling mechanism are engaged with each other across the opening between the first portion and the second portion.
