  • Patent number: 11450323
Abstract: Speech is digitized and analyzed by a speech-recognition platform to produce raw text sentences. In various embodiments, the recognized words of each sentence are tokenized based on a grammar, which may be selected by a Recognition Context Controller (RCC) using a context database. A Medical Context Semantic Library (MCSL) contains all medically relevant terms recognized by the system and, once the grammar is selected, the MCSL is used to select a semantic template (consisting of one or more hierarchically organized data structures whose root is a “Concept”). Recognized words are mapped to tokens based on the operative grammar to fill the Concept tree(s). The grammar and the Concept trees can potentially shift after each sentence based on the RCC's analysis. The trees accumulate and are filled as sentences are analyzed. Once all of the sentences have been analyzed, the trees have been filled to the extent possible. Concepts may be organized into higher-level Observations.

  • Patent number: 7259729
Abstract: A plurality of images, in a layout based on a display protocol, is displayed with high efficiency. Display protocol sequences PS1, PS2 and PS3, in which multiple display protocols are lined up in a predetermined order, are remembered in a memory means of a workstation. The workstation is connected to an image server storing a plurality of image data, and by selecting a desired display protocol sequence and specifying to the image server to transmit image data, the layout is switched based on the display protocol sequence, and the images are laid out, etc. and displayed on a monitor.

  • Patent number: 7209592
Abstract: An image storage and display system transmits required image data such as original image data and irreversible compressed image data expediently. Original image data input to the image server from the input modality is subjected to a data compression process by the server computer ad irreversible compressed image data having a decompression ratio of 1/20, 1/50, etc. is thereby produced. In this way, three versions of image data, original image data, and two irreversible compressed image data having different compression ratios are created for a single image and stored in a temporary storage medium. A request is issued from a workstation, connected to the image server via a network, for transmission of the version of image data to be acquired, and the requested image data is read out from the temporary storage medium, transmitted to the workstation and displayed on a monitor.

  • Patent number: 6876759
Abstract: In an image transmitting system comprising an image server and a display terminal, transmission of image data for use in remote diagnosis is simplified. A communications circuit having a low data transmission rate, such as a telephone line, connects the image server and display terminal. From the display terminal, the subscription of a folder, based on the predetermined subscription conditions, is specified to the image server. The image server classifies image data satisfying the subscription conditions into a folder and manages it. When new image data satisfying the subscription conditions is stored in the image server, notification thereof and/or said new image data is transmitted to the display terminal.
