  • Publication number: 20240135219
Abstract: A signal comprises a plurality of codewords associated with a set of codewords, each codeword comprising a plurality of symbols associated with a symbol constellation. Processing includes: mapping quantum states associated with symbols of a particular codeword of the signal to a plurality of input qubits, and applying quantum operations to the input qubits according to a quantum circuit for decoding the signal. The quantum operations comprise: controlled unitary multi-qubit operations performed on two or more qubits in a first set of qubits controlled based on two or more qubits in a second set of qubits, an initial quantum measurement performed on an initially measured qubit in the first set of qubits, at least one controlled unitary single-qubit operation performed on a post-measurement state associated with the initially measured qubit, and quantum operations that invert at least a portion of the operations in the plurality of controlled unitary multi-qubit operations.

  • Publication number: 20230067513
Abstract: An electronic device (such as an access point) is described. During operation, the electronic device may create a hidden transmitted BSS. For example, the hidden transmitted BSS may be hidden, e.g., from an operator of a network that includes the electronic device and/or from one or more second electronic devices. Moreover, the electronic device may transmit a multi-BSS beacon with a transmitted BSSID and a wild-card SSID (or blank character string) of the hidden transmitted BSS, and, for one or more non-transmitted BSSes, one or more non-transmitted BSSIDs and their associated SSIDs. Then, the electronic device may establish one or more connections with the one or more second electronic devices via the one or more non-transmitted BSSes. Furthermore, the electronic device may deactivate a given non-transmitted BSS in the one or more non-transmitted BSSes without impacting a remainder of the non-transmitted BSSes.

  • Publication number: 20210306970
Abstract: A radio node that selectively performs a remedial action is described. During operation, the radio node detects a potential change in a location of the radio node relative to a predefined location. For example, the radio node may detect the potential change in the location based at least in part on a change in a network parameter of the radio node and/or by performing a scan of wireless signals in an environment of the radio node. Then, in response to detecting the potential change in the location, the radio node determines the location of the radio node (e.g., by using a positioning system). When there is at least a predefined change in the location of the radio node relative to the predefined location, the radio node selectively performs the remedial action. Notably, the remedial action may include: providing an alert or a notification, discontinuing transmissions, or re-register the radio node.
