Patent number: 9779174Abstract: Described herein is a framework to facilitate anonymous reporting of social incidents. In accordance with one aspect of the framework, at least one input report of a social incident is received from at least one user device. The input report may be submitted by a user associated with verified credentials. An equivalence class may be identified for the input report. If a count associated with the equivalence class exceeds a predetermined threshold value, anonymized information based on the input report may be distributed to initiate action responsive to the social incident.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2014Date of Patent: October 3, 2017Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Mohammed Arshad Sheik Adam, Kaushik Nath

Patent number: 9646037Abstract: A system for facilitating content creation includes collecting profiles which are analyzed to build a profile parameter index. A dummy profile is created based on the profile parameter index. The dummy profile is a fictitious character having profile parameters based on input from a user of the profile parameter index. The control of the dummy profile is under the user.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2015Date of Patent: May 9, 2017Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Kaushik Nath, Suresh Venkatasubramaniyan

Patent number: 8484228Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for extraction and grouping of feature words are described herein. Feature words are obtained from a first corpus of text bodies comprising a plurality of reviews. A second corpus is created using a combination of the obtained feature words, verbs and adjectives from the first corpus. The second corpus comprises filtered reviews and each of the filtered reviews pertains to a review. Topics are preliminarily assigned for words in the filtered reviews of the second corpus. For each of the feature words in the second corpus, a topic count is determined for every preliminarily assigned topic. After determining the topic count, one or more of the topics are finally assigned to the feature words based on a topic count value. At least one topic is presented as a group of the feature words for which the at least one topic is assigned based on the topic count value.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 2011Date of Patent: July 9, 2013Assignees: Indian Institute of Science, SAP AGInventors: Chiranjib Bhattacharyya, Himabindu Lakkaraju, Kaushik Nath, Sunil Arvindam

Patent number: 8433784Abstract: A traffic generator is disclosed which generates a first type of traffic in accordance with a given distribution, and generates a second type of traffic that includes at least one traffic burst. The traffic burst is generated based at least in part on an amount of the first type of traffic generated over one or more time intervals. For example, in an illustrative embodiment, generation of the second type of traffic involves accumulating traffic over one or more of the time intervals for which the first type of traffic is generated, and generating the traffic burst based at least in part on the accumulated traffic.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2003Date of Patent: April 30, 2013Assignee: Agere Systems LLCInventors: Vinoj N. Kumar, Kaushik Nath

Patent number: 8254267Abstract: A traffic generator generates a plurality of traffic flows, with each of the traffic flows being associatable with one or more of a plurality of output interfaces of the traffic generator. In an illustrative embodiment, each of the output interfaces may have any desired combination of the traffic flows associated therewith. The traffic flows may be generated based on user selection of at least one of a protocol encapsulation, a packet size distribution model, a packet arrival time distribution model, a traffic model, and a packet payload description. Information characterizing one or more of the traffic flows may be stored as a traffic file in a memory associated with the traffic generator.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2003Date of Patent: August 28, 2012Assignee: Agere Systems Inc.Inventors: D Srivatsan, Vinoj N.
