  • Patent number: 11163315
Abstract: A method for synchronizing movement of transport vehicles in a storage facility is provided. A server determines first and second paths in the storage facility to be traversed by first and second transport vehicles, respectively. The server identifies a common path that corresponds to an overlap between the first and second paths. The server determines a safe distance to be maintained between the first and second transport vehicles, for avoiding a collision therebetween, when the first and second transport vehicles traverse the common path in the same direction. The server communicates a message, indicative of the safe distance, to the second transport vehicle for synchronizing movement of the first and second transport vehicles. Based on the message, the second transport vehicle follows the first transport vehicle along the common path and maintains a distance greater than or equal to the safe distance from the first transport vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8902229
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system of generating multilayered point based 3D representation of a scene. The method includes constructing an alpha model of randomly selected regions associated with objects with similar depth value and depth jump in a depth map of a scene, and identifying mixed pixel regions associated with edges of the objects. The method further includes estimating color, depth and transparency values for pixels in each identified mixed pixel region using associated color information from an image map of the scene, associated depth value information from the depth map, and transparency information from the alpha model based on the associated depth information. The method includes generating a multi-layered point based 3D representation of the scene by organizing the estimated color, transparency, and depth values. Moreover, the method includes rendering 3D views of the scene using the multi-layered point based 3D representation of the scene.

  • Patent number: 8613038
Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention discloses a system and method for decoding multiple independent encoded audio streams using a single decoder. The system includes one or more parsers, a preprocessor, an audio decoder, and a renderer. The parser extracts individual audio frames from each input audio stream. The preprocessor combines the outputs of all parsers into a single audio frame stream and enables sharing of the audio decoder among multiple independent encoded audio streams. The audio decoder decodes the single audio frame stream and provides a single decoded audio stream. And the renderer renders the individual reconstructed audio streams from the single decoded audio stream.

  • Publication number: 20100091188
Abstract: System and method for synchronizing one or more secondary decoded media streams to a primary decoded media stream. The system includes a media stream processor and a mixer. The media stream processor receives a primary decoded media stream and secondary decoded media streams. The media stream processor synchronizes the secondary decoded media streams with the primary decoded media stream. The output of the media stream processor is coupled to the mixer. The mixer receives its second input from the primary decoded media stream. The mixer mixes the received streams and generates a PTS value for its output media stream by extrapolating the PTS of the primary decoded media stream.
