  • Patent number: 11917664
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to support reducing conflicts with between scheduling request opportunities and downlink resources. A base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with a scheduling request periodicity and offset for identifying scheduling request opportunities. The UE and base station may apply the periodicity and the offset to a first subset of time periods of a set of multiple time periods, where the first subset of time periods may include scheduling request opportunities that do not overlap with resources allocated for downlink transmissions. Based on applying the offset and periodicity to the first subset of time periods, the UE may identify a scheduling request opportunity, in a first time period of the first subset, and may transmit a scheduling request to the base station via the scheduling request opportunity.

  • Publication number: 20240064596
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for interference mitigation techniques between wireless communications and aircraft radio altimeters. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may support one or more signaling- or configuration-based interference avoidance mechanisms associated with usage of a C-band at one or both of the UE and the network entity. The UE may support a capability according to which the UE is able to monitor a frequency band used by aircraft radio altimeters and the UE may request a modification to a C-band connection (such as request a release of the C-band connection) if the UE detects or measures signaling from an aircraft radio altimeter. Similarly, the network entity may modify the C-band connection if the network entity receives the request from the UE or itself detects or measures signaling from an aircraft radio altimeter.

  • Patent number: 11871277
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for dynamic rate matching patterns for spectrum sharing are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may measure one or more interference levels associated with resources of a physical resource block (e.g., interference levels associated with respective subcarriers or other division in the frequency domain, with respective symbol durations or other division in the time domain, or a combination thereof), and determine a rate matching pattern based on the interference level measurements.
