Abstract: In an exposure system, a photo-sensitive recording medium rests on a resting surface of a table. The recording medium on the resting surface is illuminated with light from a light source and is exposed to the light. The resting surface has reflectivity which is so determined as to increase from a central region of the resting surface gradually toward opposite end regions thereof in such a manner that a sum of a quantity of the light from the light source, with which the recording medium is illuminated directly, and a quantity of light transmitted through the recording medium and reflected by the resting surface, with which the recording medium is illuminated indirectly, is made substantially uniform over the entire surface of the recording medium.
