Abstract: A software-based commissioning strategy for customization of a new marine vessel having a newly installed stability/dynamic active control system. The commissioning strategy will be implemented by using a proprietary customer-facing software embedded within a software module of a newly installed dynamic active control system for a new marine vessel (and a new hull type). The software-controlled commissioning strategy is configured to automatically determine the appropriate feedback gains for the marine vessel by controlling the deployment of the water engagement devices while simultaneously measuring and capturing the data generated from the resulting list angle, roll angle, roll rate, and yaw rate changes associated with the deployment.
