  • Patent number: 9600264
Abstract: A migration set list generator specifies a physical topology of a deployed software solution, wherein the software solution comprises software components and data associated with the software components, integrated into a single entity. The migration set list generator specifies at least one solution change to the deployed software solution to meet at least one business requirement and specifies at least one migration strategy for migrating the deployed software solution. The migration set list generator generates migration tasks for making the at least one solution change to the deployed software solution specified in the physical topology based on the at least one migration strategy and generates a recommended physical topology yielded for the software solution if the physical topology is updated according to the migration tasks.

  • Patent number: 8768957
Abstract: A computer program product and apparatus are disclosed for managing task data. A task identifier that identifies a task is sent from a task processing portlet to a mapping engine, and then to a process server. A task type is identified by the process server based on the task identifier. The task type is sent from the process server to the mapping engine, which uses a mapping entry database that includes mapping entries to identify a set of queries and a set of data sources that are mapped to the task type. Data received from the set of data sources is aggregated in response to the set of queries to form aggregated data. The aggregated data is used by the human user to complete the selected task. The mapping entry is changed at runtime by changing the set of data sources that are mapped to the task type.

  • Patent number: 8639896
Abstract: A core dump is processed to locate and optionally alter sensitive information. A core dump copy is created from at least a portion of an original core dump. Also, at least one input parameter is provided that corresponds to select information to be identified in the core dump copy and address information associated with the core dump copy is defined that corresponds to at least one of addresses where the select information can be altered and addresses where the select information should not be altered. Each occurrence of the select information located within the core dump copy is identified and optionally replaced with predetermined replacement data if the occurrence of the select information is within the addresses where the select information can be altered.

  • Patent number: 8417725
Abstract: A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer program product for managing task data. A task advisor identifies a set of queries and a set of data sources mapped to a task type in a mapping entry. The task type is associated with a selected task. The mapping entry maps the task type to the set of queries. The set of queries is mapped to the set of data sources. The task advisor sends each query in the set of queries to a corresponding data source in the set of data sources. The task advisor aggregates the data received from the set of data sources in response to the set of queries. A user may utilize the aggregated data to complete the selected task.

• Patent number: 7860223
Abstract: A method to provide a confirmation warning to a target sender of an electronic communication is disclosed. The confirmation warning is provided prior to transmitting the electronic communication from the target sender to a target recipient, there being an established pattern of communication between the target sender and the target recipient. In response to determining that specified details about the electronic communication are not consistent with details about the established pattern of electronic communication, setting a pattern warning flag and saving those details of the electronic communication determined to be not consistent. In response to detecting the presence of at least one of the pattern warning flag and a sensitive message flag, making available to the target sender a confirmation warning, and, in response to the target sender confirming acceptability of the target recipient to receive the electronic communication, transmitting the electronic communication to the target recipient.
