  • Patent number: 9307511
Abstract: A base station registers a mobile station subjected to the call reception control of the base station. When connection between the mobile station registered by the base station and a higher-level device of the base station is terminated after detecting that the mobile station is located in a communication area of the base station, the base station causes the higher-level device to maintain information indicating that the mobile station is located in the communication area, without notifying the higher-level device of termination of the connection. When a call addressed to the mobile station is detected after termination of the connection between the mobile station and the higher-level device, the base station gives a notification about detection of the call.

  • Patent number: 8331316
Abstract: A mobile communication system has a plurality of nodes, hierarchically connected to each other, including a source base station and a target base station. A U-plane management station includes detecting unit detecting a handover for the mobile terminal, and a Bi-casting unit redundantly transmitting, when detecting the handover for the mobile terminal, the same user data addressed to the mobile terminal toward both of the source base station and the target base station. The target base station includes a retaining unit receiving the user data addressed to the mobile terminal, which is transmitted by the U-plane management station, and retaining the user data, and a wireless transmitting unit wirelessly transmitting, when the mobile terminal is wirelessly connected after moving, the user data requested by the mobile terminal in the user data retained by the retaining unit and addressed to the mobile terminal.

  • Patent number: 8131309
Abstract: A plurality of base transceiver stations and at least one extension device are connected, via an IP network that uses internet protocol. The extension device shares resources of the base transceiver stations by arbitrary changing a connection relationship between the base transceiver stations and the extension devices. When a mobile terminal communicates with a core network, the extension device uses the resources of at least one base transceiver stations according to fluctuation in the amount of traffic.

  • Publication number: 20110092207
Abstract: In a radio network control device, if TMSI included in a connection request is not stored in a subscriber-information storage unit, IMSI corresponding to the TMSI is acquired from a higher-level device and access control is performed for radio communications between a mobile terminal and a base station.

  • Publication number: 20110002272
Abstract: A mobile communications network is a communications network that performs both circuit switching and packet switching. A data communications network is a communications network that performs packet switching. A communication apparatus is capable of connecting to the mobile communications network and the data communications network. The communication apparatus includes a communication control unit which obtains access from a mobile station to the mobile communications network, terminates the access whose call type is packet-switched call, and replaces that access with access to the data communications network.

  • Patent number: 7822004
Abstract: In a network system including a radio base station to be accommodated in a mobile telephone network through an IP network, the radio base station, when receiving a calling request from a calling terminal, specifies a called terminal of the calling request. If the called terminal can receive the calling request by using another radio base station different from the base station connected to the IP network, it is tried to establish a data communication line, in which the radio base station and the another radio base station are connected through the IP network not by way of the mobile telephone network, so as to exchange the communication data between the calling terminal and the called terminal.

  • Publication number: 20100173661
Abstract: A communication server communicates with a radio base station that is capable of being connected to a fixed line by a user. A receiving unit receives station identification information identifying the radio base station and line identification information identifying a fixed line to which the radio base station is connected. An acquiring unit acquires authentication information indicating preliminarily set correlations between the station identification information and the line identification information. A determining unit determines whether a correlation between the station identification information and the line identification information received by the receiving unit coincides with a correlation indicated in the authentication information acquired by the acquiring unit. A determination result output unit outputs a determination result of the determining unit.

  • Publication number: 20090193128
Abstract: A call connection processing method that uses SIP (Signal Invitation Protocol) to perform call connection between user terminals and a backbone network via an access network is disclosed. In the method the user terminal instructs a proxy apparatus in the access network to send specified SIP signaling messages to the backbone network in place of the user terminal; by following that instruction, the proxy apparatus does not send a certain SIP message of the SIP signaling messages to the user terminal, or sends another SIP messages to the backbone network in place of the user terminal.
