    Abstract: A method for determining a secondary value having a second-highest priority in a list of values in a spreadsheet is provided. A primary value having a highest priority in the list of values is determined. The secondary value is determined to be equal to the primary value if more than one of the values in the list is equal to the primary value. The secondary value is determined to be equal to one of the list of values not equal to the primary value having a relative highest priority if only one of the values in the list is equal to the primary value.
