    Abstract: In order to prevent deterioration in performance of an oil-free screw compressor and scuffing caused by rust, surfaces of both male and female rotors are coated with heat-resistance coatings containing a solid lubricant. A coating contains Polyimide resin to which Molybdenum disulfide, as a solid lubricant, and Aluminum oxide and Titanium oxide, as additives, are added. Accordingly, it is possible to realize a coating that is higher in heat resistance and longer in lifetime than a conventional one.

The oil-free scroll compressor includes an orbiting scroll member and fixed scroll members, and has compression channels into which water is injected each formed between the intake port and exhaust port provided in the fixed scroll member. The oil-free scroll compressor includes temperature sensors each of which detects temperature in the compression channel, regulating valves each of which controls ratio of the amount of the water to be injected into the respective compression channels to the total amount of the water to be injected into the compression channels, and controller which controls the opening degrees of the regulating valves such that a difference between the detected temperatures from the compression channels is small.

    Abstract: A cooling fan is fitted to one of the shaft end portions of a double-end motor, and a pulley is fitted to the other end portion. A belt is passed around this pulley and a pulley fitted to a compressor element, and the compressor element is driven by this belt. An exhaust duct having a built-in cooler is also disposed in such a manner as to be stacked up above a cooling fan on the discharge side of the cooling fan. A main duct is formed on the suction side of the cooling fan and is interconnected in series with a cooling air outlet of the compressor element. These members described above are accommodated inside a casing. Therefore, two cooling air flow passages are defined on the right and left sides inside the casing.
