    Abstract: A vehicle seat is provided in which a seat main body can be flipped up with a simple structure having high support rigidity. A vehicle seat S includes rail brackets fixed to the vehicle body floor side, support bases pivotably attached to right-left outer side surfaces of the rail brackets, and front support links pivotably attached to right-left inner side surfaces of the rail brackets. About base pivot shaft portions in front parts of the support bases, a seat back and a seat cushion are flipped up and rotated in the forward inclination direction. The front support links are arranged on the rear side of the base pivot shaft portions, and maintain a forward inclination angle of the seat back and the seat cushion.

    Abstract: An acceleration sensor has a movable contact formed by a roll spring wound around a roller which can roll along a guide surface of a resinous frame, and stationary contacts mounted on the resinous frame to lie in a path of rolling movement of the roller. Two recesses are formed in the guide surface of the resinous frame and divided by a partition, and the stationary contacts are disposed in these recesses, respectively. The acceleration sensor ensures not only that the single movable contact be brought into contact with the two stationary contacts for conduction therebetween to thereby provide a function corresponding to two conventional acceleration sensors by a single acceleration sensor, but also that any dislocation of the two stationary contacts is restrained by the disposition thereof in the two recesses divided by the partition, thereby preventing short-circuit between both the stationary contacts.

    Abstract: An air bag device for use with a motor vehicle has an inflatable bag on the inner surface of which is provided a thin film-like layer of gas generating agent. At least one igniter is mounted in a part of the thin gas generating agent layer. When the vehicle encounters a collision, the gas generating agent is ignited by the igniter to generate gas. The gas fills up and thereby inflates the bag to restrain an occupant of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A lifting device in a vehicle sliding roof device, wherein a link mechanism which connects the stay of a slide roof member to a slider slidably disposed on a guide rail is provided with a regulating member, and the guide rail is provided with a constraining member which constrains the lifting of the regulating member in association with the link mechanism. A cut-away portion for permitting vertical motion of the regulating member is provided at a slide roof member lifting position on the constraining member of the guide rail, and a lift guide is adjustably provided in the vicinity of such cut-away portion. In this manner, the slide roof member is lifted only at the position wherein the roof opening is closed, to thereby prevent the slide roof member from being lifted unexpectedly at a position other than such closed position.
