  • Publication number: 20050213042
Abstract: The present invention aims at providing a liquid crystal display device intended to rationalize a layout of various devices provided inside the liquid crystal display device and to reduce dead spaces in the liquid crystal display device, thereby reducing the size and thickness of the device. The liquid crystal display device comprises speakers 10, 10, a recording/reproducing device 11, a liquid crystal display unit 12, and an inverter substrate 13 making up an inverter circuit which controls the liquid crystal display unit 12 within the cabinet of a liquid crystal television receiver 1. The speakers 10, 10 having a smaller height H than the height H1 of the liquid crystal display unit 12 are disposed alongside the liquid crystal display unit 12 and the inverter substrate 13 is disposed in spaces 20 formed above the speakers 10, 10.

  • Publication number: 20040096195
Abstract: It is an object to decrease the influence of a noise generated from an operating device without providing a shielding plate in an audio and video combined apparatus in which a DVD unit and a video cassette unit are provided in the same housing. A double-sided board (13) mounting a DVD operating device (5) and a video operating device (10) is provided between a video cassette deck (8) and a bottom plate panel (1a) of a housing (1). The DVD operating device (5) is positioned below the video cassette deck (8). The DVD operating device (5) is surrounded by a metallic chassis of the video cassette deck (8) and the metallic bottom plate panel (1a) of the housing (1) and is thus shielded electromagnetically. A noise generated from the DVD operating device (5) is shielded so that the video cassette deck (8) is not influenced.
