Patent number: 9468135Abstract: A substrate conveying system includes a mounting device conveyor for conveying a printed substrate in a first horizontal direction, an upstream-side conveyor, a downstream-side conveyor, and a buffer conveyor. The mounting device conveyor has a function of moving the printed substrate in a horizontal Y direction perpendicular to the conveying direction. The upstream-side conveyor is spaced apart from the downstream-side conveyor in the Y direction. The buffer conveyor has a function of conveying the printed substrate in the first direction, and a function of moving the printed substrate in the Y direction. When the mounting device conveyor and the buffer conveyor are positioned in the same position in the Y direction, the printed substrate is transferred from one of these conveyors to the other.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2013Date of Patent: October 11, 2016Assignee: YAMAHA HATSUDOKI KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Yoshitaka Narita, Kazuaki Yamada

Patent number: 9054145Abstract: A substrate stopped at a first position is transferred toward a second position and is stopped at the second position in an accurate and stable manner. An intermediate position arrival time AT is measured while the substrate is being transferred from a substrate stop position toward a mounting work position, and a transfer status of the substrate (whether or not an unexpected factor has occurred) is assessed based on the intermediate position arrival time AT. Before the substrate reaches the second position, a deceleration pattern is controlled by altering a deceleration start timing T14 and the deceleration b in accordance with the intermediate position arrival time AT, thereby accurately stopping and positioning the substrate at the mounting work position. In this manner, under feed-forward control, the substrate can be stably transferred to the mounting work position.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2012Date of Patent: June 9, 2015Assignee: Yamaha Hatsudoki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Daisuke Uekawa, Kazuaki Yamada

Patent number: 8800442Abstract: A screen printing apparatus in which two printing units are provided in a production line which transports boards from a single board exit position set on a downstream side in a conveyance direction. One printing unit being disposed is available for set-up tasks while the other printing unit is working. Since set-up tasks can be conducted in one printing unit while the other printing unit is working, then it is possible to improve through-put dramatically even in cases where small-volume diverse-component production is carried out in a single lane.Type: GrantFiled: May 30, 2012Date of Patent: August 12, 2014Assignee: Yamaha Hatsudoki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kazuaki Yamada, Yasushi Miyake

Patent number: 7185425Abstract: By forming a terminal at a tip of a lead part of a lead frame, and by fixing this terminal and a connecting pad which was formed on an upper surface of a first printed circuit board, the lead frame is attached to the first printed circuit board. By cutting off a frame part and a tie bar part from the lead frame which was attached to the first printed circuit board, the lead part is separated, and forming is applied to the lead part so as for its tip to be extended over the first printed board. After the lead part which is expanded upward is inserted into a through-hole which was opened in a second printed circuit board, by soldering the lead part and the through-hole, the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board are electrically connected.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2003Date of Patent: March 6, 2007Assignees: Fujitsu Ten Limited, Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takashi Ohta, Kazuaki Yamada, Kiyoshi Tsujii, Hidekazu Manabe

Patent number: 6508846Abstract: In a process and an apparatus for fabricating a solid electrolytic capacitor comprising a capacitor element including an anode member provided with a chemical conversion coating and an electrically conductive polymer serving as a cathode electrolyte and impregnating the capacitor element, an agitating station 7 is provided between a mixing station 5 and an impregnating station 6 to have a mixture of a monomer and an oxidizer agitated immediately before the step of impregnating the capacitor element with the mixture to render the mixture uniform. The mixture can be agitated, for example, by an air injection nozzle disposed at the agitating station 7 for injecting compressed air into the mixture. This affords solid electrolytic capacitors with diminished variations in electrical characteristics.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 2001Date of Patent: January 21, 2003Assignees: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd., Saga Sanyo Industries Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kazuaki Yamada, Hidemi Fuchigami, Nobuhiro Honda
