  • Patent number: 8545324
Abstract: A communication game device which is disclosed can communicate with another game device, memorize the information about a communication partner at the time of the communication, and offer the communication game device which can process information for the succeeding game to be reflected in the contents of a game or the simulation. The communication game device has a processing section, a program storage part which memorizes a control program, an image storage section which memorizes character pictures matched with picture IDs, and controlling elements which can be operated by a game player. When the player's game device receives parameters from another communication game device, the parameters are stored or the data is renewed. If a parameter containing a body ID and the same body ID as arbitrary data is not stored, the arbitrary data in the parameter is memorized. If the parameter has been memorized, it is updated.

  • Publication number: 20090029779
Abstract: There is provided a game apparatus, which includes a storage unit and a communication unit which communicates with another game apparatus. This game apparatus controls the storage unit to store a character group including two characters of a first type and one or more characters of a second type, and to store a parameter value indicating a relationship between the character group and that of the other game apparatus. Furthermore, when the parameter value satisfies the predetermined condition and when one of the one or more characters of the second type is selected, the character group is updated so that the selected character and a predetermined character of the second type of the other game apparatus are set as new, two characters of the first type, and only newly generated one or more characters of the second type are set as the one or more characters of the second type.

  • Publication number: 20080096661
Abstract: A trip made by a virtual creature being fostered in a virtual creature breeding toy 101 is rendered. On the virtual creature breeding toy 101, an operation can be performed to simulate a trip made by a virtual creature being fostered on the toy 101. The operation causes a passport number to be displayed on the toy 101. A user inputs the passport number on a display panel presented by a mobile application 102b being executed on a mobile terminal 102. The mobile terminal 102 sends a virtual creature code and an item code included in the number to a server 103. The server 103 combines a virtual creature image 103b with a background image 103a, both of which can be retrieved using codes associated with them. The composite image is associated with the user of the mobile terminal 102 that has sent the codes and is stored as a collected image 103d. The mobile terminal 102 can access the collected image 103d through a browser 102c and display the composite image.
