Abstract: The invention provides a portable electronic apparatus and a portable music-reproducing apparatus which realize power saving promotion, and life prolonging promotion for a display panel, and which prevent display quality from being deteriorated. A portable electronic apparatus (1) can instruct an EL-displaying portion (12) to perform clock display while realizing power saving promotion therefor. Thus, the portable electronic apparatus (1) can be given an added value without impairing any of main functions thereof. Also, even when the EL-displaying portion (12) is in an OFF state, picture display is returned back to the clock display by manually operating corresponding one of switches, and is returned back to an operation picture for AUDIO or the like by manually operating corresponding another one of the switches. Hence, no complicated operation is required for the portable electronic apparatus (1).

Abstract: A TV receiver is provided with a main body having a display section to display a received image of digitalized terrestrial broadcast and operation buttons to perform various operations, and a cover section rotatively attached to the main body by a hinge. The hinge is provided with a cover support section connected to the cover section, an opening and closing rotation mechanism attached through an axis to the main body, and a hinge axis to rotatively support the cover support section and the opening and closing rotation mechanism. The cover section rotates relative to the main body around the opening and closing rotation mechanism attaching axis and the hinge axis parallel respectively to a vertical axis and a horizontal axis of the display section.

Abstract: An apparatus for supplying an air-fuel mixture through a collecting passage of an intake manifold to a cylinder of an internal combustion engine. The flow of the air-fuel mixture from the intake passageway of a throttle body is discharged transversely into the collecting passageway so that the mixture strikes a region on a side surface of the collecting passageway. Also provided is an arrangement for supplying an auxiliary air stream into the collecting passageway from a location across the striking region from the engine cylinder, which arrangement directs the auxiliary air toward the center of the striking region.
