  • Publication number: 20090152786
Abstract: A clamping device that can reduce a burden on a worker and can surely fix an object includes a basic body, a pressing section for pressing a workpiece, a manually operable operating section, and a transmitting body. The transmitting body transmits a movement of the operating section to the pressing section so that the pressing section travels between a pressing position, at which the pressing section presses the workpiece, and a standing-by position, at which the pressing section is spaced apart from the workpiece to stand by. The basic body has a second opposing section opposing a first opposing section which belongs to the transmitting body. The second opposing section has a pressurizing member resiliently urged in a direction in which the pressurizing member goes from the second opposing section toward the first opposing section. The first opposing section has a pressurized surface which the pressurizing member pressurizes.

  • Publication number: 20070267797
Abstract: A clamping device has a base body, a pressing body for pressing a workpiece and a rotationally operable rotary body, all of which are rotatable relative to each other about an axis. The pressing body can rotate between a first rotary position at which the pressing body does not face the workpiece and a second rotary position at which the pressing body faces the workpiece. The pressing body can move between a press releasing position and a pressing position while being at the second rotary position. When the rotary body is rotated from one rotary position to a middle rotary position, the pressing body rotates from the first rotary position to the second rotary position as the rotary body rotates. When the rotary body is rotated to another rotary position, the pressing body is moved from the press releasing position to the pressing position by a cam mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20060145406
Abstract: To provide a clamp device capable of simply clamping an object to and removing it from a support base. In the clamp device, a body, a pressing member for pressing a workpiece, and a rotary member are allowed to rotate relative to each other. The pressing member rotates between a first rotary position not facing the workpiece and a second rotary position facing the workpiece. In the second rotary position, the pressing member is also movable between a press releasing position and a pressing position. Here, when the rotary member is rotated from one rotary position to a middle rotary position, the pressing member, while being held in the press releasing position by a holding means, is rotated by a contact means from the first rotary position to the second rotary position as the rotary member rotates.

  • Patent number: 5984291
Abstract: A mounting support device allows workpieces to be attached at points intermediate between discrete positions of fixture bases of machine tools. The mounting support device has three support members. A lower support member is slidably attached to an intermediate member allowing the intermediate member to move along an x-axis. An upper support member is slidably attached to the intermediate member allowing the upper member to move along a z-axis. A jig for holding a workpiece is connected to the upper member. The lower support member is attached to the fixture base in a discrete location in the usual way. Thus, the jig holding the workpiece can be positioned intermediately between discrete mounting positions of the fixture base. The sliding attachments maintain precise alignment between the support members and can be secured after adjustment.

  • Patent number: 5788225
Abstract: A machining device has a base and a fixture. The base is fixedly attached to a pallet or a machining table. The fixture is mounted on the base, contacting the base only at projecting contact surfaces which project above the mounting surface of the base. Cleaning of the base before a fixture is attached is done efficiently because only the minimized projecting contact surfaces area between the base and the fixture needs to be cleaned to permit stable contact between the base and fixture. The base and fixture also include projections and holes for precisely aligning the base and fixture with respect to each other.

  • Patent number: 4621331
Abstract: A manipulator having a grasping mechanism for grasping an object and an arm mechanism for lifting the grasped object, is disclosed. A weight detector is provided which detects a force that the top of the arm mechanism receives in the gravitational direction when the grasped object is being lifted. In order to find the minimum grasping force sufficient to lift the object, a grasp detector is provided for detecting, from the output of the weight detector, that the object cannot be lifted up with the present grasping force and a desired grasping force selector for selecting successively a desired value of grasping force starting from a predetermined minimum desired value until it is detected that the object is lifted. A grasping force control circuit controls the grasping force to the selected desired value.

  • Patent number: 4482958
Abstract: A data processing device applied to a computed tomography system which examines a living body utilizing radiation of X-rays is disclosed. The X-rays which have penetrated the living body are converted into electric signals in a detecting section. The electric signals are acquired and converted from an analog form into a digital form in a data acquisition section, and then supplied to a matrix data-generating section included in the data processing device. By this matrix data-generating section are generated matrix data which correspond to a plurality of projection data. These matrix data are supplied to a partial sum-producing section. The partial sums respectively corresponding to groups of the matrix data are calculated in this partial sum-producing section and then supplied to an accumulation section. In this accumulation section, the final value corresponding to the total sum of the matrix data is calculated, whereby the calculation for image reconstruction is performed.

  • Patent number: 4438488
Abstract: In a data processing system having a slave computer connecting to a host central processing unit and a host main memory, the slave computer has no internal random access memory and includes an arithmetic logic operating means. The arithmetic logic operating means calculates an address of the host main memory. A DMA interface directly makes an access to the host main memory to fetch operand data into the slave computer. The arithmetic logic operating means computes the operand data under control of a microprogram control section and directly loads the computed result to the host main memory through the DMA interface.

  • Patent number: 4314333
Abstract: A data processor used with a host computer is constructed by a plurality of memory units, at least one arithmetic and logic unit, a register file and a microprogram memory for storing microprograms to control these circuit components. The first field of each microinstruction of the microprogram is supplied to a first logic converting circuit of which the output signal drives each memory unit. The third field of the microinstruction is supplied to the second logic converting circuit of which the output signal causes the data stored in selected registers of the register file to be supplied to the arithmetic and logic unit. The arithmetic and logic unit operates upon the data supplied in accordance with the designation by the second field, and loads the result of the operation into the register specified by one of the outputs of the second logic converting circuit.
