  • Publication number: 20240062468
Abstract: A virtual surface is generated on the basis of a collision for contact determination. Furthermore, a polygon mesh associated with a first texture is associated with the virtual surface. When a predetermined range targeted by a color update event overlaps the collision, color at coordinates on a second texture associated with the virtual surface is updated on the basis of an association relationship between the collision and the virtual surface. Then, the polygon mesh is rendered using the first texture and the second texture.

  • Publication number: 20230410406
Abstract: A first texture including first color information, a second texture including second color information, and a third texture including height information are managed. The first color information, of the first texture corresponding to a surface of an object, obtained on the basis of a first correspondence relationship is obtained. A second correspondence relationship which is a relationship between the surface of the object and the second texture is corrected on the basis of a relationship between a line-of-sight direction of a virtual camera and orientation of the surface of the object and the height information specified on the basis of a third correspondence relationship, and the second color information is obtained from the second texture on the basis of the corrected second correspondence relationship. Then, a rendering color is determined using the obtained color information, and the surface of the object is rendered.

  • Patent number: 11589025
Abstract: A first image is generated by imaging a first three-dimensional virtual space including a predetermined object by a first virtual camera. In addition, a map object formed by a three-dimensional model corresponding to the first three-dimensional virtual space is generated, and an indicator object indicating the position of a predetermined object is placed on the map object. Then, a second image is generated by imaging the map object by a second virtual camera. At this time, the second image is generated such that, regarding the indicator object placed on the map object, the display manners of a part hidden by the map object and a part not hidden by the map object as seen from the second virtual camera are different from each other.
