    Abstract: An apparatus for setting a display device includes a target value obtainer, a measured value obtainer, and a determiner. The target value obtainer acquires a target value of a display setting including color temperature and brightness for a display device configured to display an image. The measured value obtainer acquires a measured value of display characteristics including the color temperature and the brightness in each of multiple states specific to the display device, from the display device for which the display setting is sequentially changed to the multiple states. The determiner determines a setting value in the display setting including the color temperature and the brightness from among the multiple states, on the basis of the target value and multiple measured values acquired by the measured value obtainer.

    Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an image information transmission unit, a color information acquisition unit, and a conversion relationship creation unit. The image information transmission unit transmits, to a display device, pieces of color-conversion image information representing images used for performing color conversion for the display device, in ascending order of lightness of the images in a predetermined color space. The color information acquisition unit acquires color information of each image that is displayed on the display device in accordance with a corresponding piece of color-conversion image information among the pieces of color-conversion image information that have been transmitted by the image information transmission unit. The conversion relationship creation unit creates, on the basis of the color information that has been acquired by the color information acquisition unit, a conversion relationship for a color of an image to be displayed on the display device.

    Abstract: An image adjusting apparatus includes the following elements. A set color temperature obtaining unit obtains a set color temperature which is set when a white image is displayed, in an image display apparatus. A maximum tone value calculator calculates a maximum tone value of a reference color when the displayed white image is changed into a white image corresponding to the set color temperature. A tone characteristic setting unit sets a tone characteristic of the reference color on the basis of the calculated maximum tone value. If the calculated maximum tone value is decreased from a maximum tone value before the set color temperature is set, the tone characteristic setting unit corrects, in a region in which a tone value of an input image signal is equal to or smaller than a predetermined value, the tone characteristic so that a tone value of an output image signal is increased.

    Abstract: A color adjustment device includes a color-value obtaining unit, a color-property-value deriving unit, a correction-item selection unit, a target-property-value setting unit, a correction-coefficient deriving unit, and a color-adjustment-profile generating unit. The color-property-value deriving unit derives values of color properties from the color values. The correction-coefficient deriving unit derives a correction coefficient to be used to correct the values of the color property to the target property value. The color-adjustment-profile generating unit generates a color-adjustment profile on the basis of the correction coefficient.
